PS4 Eye/Kinect functionality for Multi-Plats?

Hi all, Just thinking - due to both the PS4 and XBox One's similar architecture. When it comes to Multi Plats and what developers intend to do with Kinect....

Do you think developers will just copy/paste over the functionality of whatever they implement using Kinect to the PS4 where a PS4 Eye is available? I understand that Kinect is stronger /more powerful camera than the Eye but beyond the usual voice commands etc that the PS4 Eye can probably also handle, I don't think we will see much more outside of Kinect only Games?

Honest kudos to Microsoft for creating Kinect if only for the voice commands. Being a trekkie, I've been waiting for the day that I could give voice commands to my game system. Glad that Sony adopted the tech in the PS4 camera. Yes, I've already picked up the PS4 camera.

And to answer your question, a copy and paste is very likely for as much as the eyetoy can handle.

I though someone said you didnt need the PS$ camera for voice commands? Doesn't matter anyways, I'm not getting it and wouldn't use it.

Well since the multi plats themselves are generally copy and paste even though one console is more powerful, no reason to think it can't be the same for the cameras too.

Also just to correct those who insist on getting it wrong:

EyeToy = PS2 camera

PS Eye = PS3 camera

Playstation Camera = PS4 camera.

Please do get it right.

Nah, just got some mild OCD, I couldn't care less about the camera itself, I have the PS Eye, but it has not once been hooked up to my PS3, only been connected to my pc as a webcam :D
