Ps3 vs 360 Elite

Both the ps3 and the 360 have their goods and their bads however for some people one or the other may be perfect. I love the ps3 and i think it would be a great next console for me since i still dont have a next gen but i have had my eyes on the 360 ELITE as well....should i go for the ps3? and have awesome blu ray...or should i give in to the 360 elite and enjoy halo and much more

ps3 = more reliable, not as goood looking, more favorable future, more good exclusives that i can't get on pc

xbox 360= looks sexy, breaks just much as the other, some exclusive titles that interest me and pay for live(paying for online gaming is disgust, leave it on pc).

If it wasn't for the break(rrod) because I dont need or would by live. But rrod, I look at 360 and shake my head.

You could think whatever you like but the question still remains, what PS3 is he talking about versus an Xbox 360 Elite? See you will never know because you have to elaborate more. All the choices he would have is the 40 gig since the 20 gigs, 60 gigs, and 80 gigs are discontinued.

Both! I personally think the 360 has a stronger lineup of games atm though. But you should get the console with the games and features that appeals to you the mostZimpanX

I spend much more time playing my PS3 even tho I have a lot more games for my 360 elite and gold live and got it before my PS3 60GB. If I had to choose I'd go for a PS3 for sure.

Plus theres still LOTS of games that I didn't get for my PS2 but I'm playing some old ones that I missed out on, for example I am playing all the DMC games and then after that I want to try and find ICO.

I spend much more time playing PC games then console games btw. :P

What features have they added? They just took out some USB ports, the card reader, and backward compatibility.

PS3: looks very sexy, plays blu-ray and upscales dvds, free online, very reliable, helps studying for a cure for cancer, and awesome exclusives coming soon (MGS4, R2,GT5, FFXII, GTA4, and much more!)

360: very unreliable, keeps breaking, pay for online, bigger game library but most of it on PC as well, no HD movies unless you pay through live, if you purchase live you'll be paying more for a broken console in the long run, and it has Halo

In my opinion I'd rather have a PS3 a more reliable console that also helps research for cancer rather than wasting my money on a broken console which would probably break numerous times also M$ limits you by only buying there products when Sony doesn't restrict you to buying products for only their console for example hard drives so I go with the PS3

Get a 360 premium. you CAN use custom HDDs. there is nothing that stops you from doing so, i would know because one of my friends did it.

As for me, 20GB is fine. Just make sure you delete crap that you don't need anymore.

depends...if you like to download tv shows than the Elite( my buddy has all the episodes of scrubs,lost,etc )..Hell I might end up buying one because I am struggling to make space for my colbert report downloads xP

You can watch them on ur xbox using windows media centre and transcode360

PS3 all the way man. If you are just now getting a next gen system, then you are in the same boat as me (getting a PS2 in less than two weeks). The whole PS3 has no games thing is a joke to you and I, because we are getting it late enough that the PS3 has plenty of good games to pick from now. And by the time you are done playing the games you get, there will be more. I can list you 9 PS3 games worth getting when you get your PS3.

Even the "Elites" are not immune to the RROD bug. No point paying so much for something that breaks down all the time.
