Anyways:
360 = Unreal engine. It can graphically do a lot and Seems to be adapting.

 PS3 = Crysis engine. It can do very very good graphics, but few games showing up with this power spoken of.

Wii = Source engine. Not graphically the best, but adaptable and very populare for it's own reasons.

I made a thread like this years ago and it wasn't locked, luckily i have seen the error of my ways and now i am here to flame this fad.  Flame on!

Anyhoo my favorite analogy that people across all continents can enjoy would be the analogy of great doubles that never were, observe:

360: Rambo and Terminator.  FPS nuts these guys will blast their way though jungle, city and play a bit of Forza to wind down

PS3: Agent Smith and Gandalf.  Smith is ruthless, efficient, powerfu, and clones ports faster than you can say "wasn't that on psp now its on ps2, well i didn't like it on the psp in the first pace because my thumb gets tired with the analogue stick.... no wait it was on ps2 then it had a sequel/prequel on psp with some stupid trading card game now its on PS3.... ok then, cool, i guess"..... Gandalf, i don't know, maybe he has a thing for agent smith who knows.

Wii:  Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader.  "Use teh force Luke, teh innovation force!" the wiimote is the perfect lightsaber and being a star wars duet, it is a digitally remastered rehash of an old classic.

Also has the best live performances (online).Also Pete,Roger,Keith,and John all cooperate when on stage(hardware in the system can multitask).

Wii=Wii is Aerosmith because it is innovative like the band was and its albums (consoles) sell like hotcakes.

PS3=Phil Mickelson represents the PS3 because he is freaking huge! And the PS3 is no exception. Also because the PS3's launch was the biggest fiasco of the three (Phil's big blowup at Wingfoot in the 2006 U.S. Open).

360=Tiger represents the 360 because it is currently the best in sales and it has the most gaming hits (majors won).(I know Jack Nickaulaus holds that title for most majors won but this out of the three. Also Tiger will eventually beats Jack's record of 18 majors).

Wii=Jim Furyk represnts the Wii because the Wii is innovative just like his swing (lol his swing is the most bizarre on tour p.s dont copy it). Also Jim has also crept up through the world rankings (sales) from out of the rader(0 sales)to #2 and is going strong. (The Wii will catch the 360 but in reality Jim will never catch up with Tiger).

The wii sells like MAD, but in a couple years, we all know who will eventually take over... Only thing is HDTV sales need to skyrocket before next gen comes out for any chance that PS3 and Xbox 360 will be able to compete with the Wii. If they don't (probably) and Wii sales continue as they stand...then Wii wins this gen.
