PS+ Games for August: JC3...

The PS+ titles for August have been announced:

So JC3 is neat i guess, unless it still runs like shit

AC Freedom Cry is the standalone DLC for ACIV

Four games for PS4 again. Super Motherload is a fun game, too bad I already own it. I'll give JC3 and Downwell a whirl.

OMG... It's a 5 year old dlc

Just Cause 3 is fun for about an hour at a time.

Somehow they made it more repetitive than the first, which is crazy.

Yeah standalone DLC, that's like 3-4 hours long

JC3 is pretty good?

@aigis: it's like JC1 & 2 but better since there's new weapons, new vehicles, the wingsuit, multiple grapple hooks, decent missions, a story easy to follow, modern graphics. I wouldn't recommend trying to beat the game in one sitting, it's overwhelming. Took me months to get the platinum trophy. I would buy the DLC if they ever go on sale.

Another PS+ month thrown in the toilet I guess.

There's no pleasing some idiots I guess lol. Sony offers indies they complain, give us big budget titles!!! Sony offers big budget titles, they still bitch and moan.

I've been wanting JC3 since I heard boost mode on the pro fixes the performance problems. Guess I'll try Freedom Cry since it's free.

Great month! Loved Black Flag and seriously considered buying JC3. Can't wait.

I'll check out Just Cause 3 for sure, and more Assassin's Creed is always welcome.

Man, I'd be excited for JC3, but the PC version has an amazing Multiplayer Mod. Can't say I'm at all interested in the other stuff. Bummer.

This and the previous month were great. They should have 1 AAA title always per month.

I got bored with JC3 during the ongoing Steam Free Play. It's fun here and there, but that's about it. I may look into the rest.

Yeah, wasn't a fan of it. Got it for super cheap, played it for 30 minutes and got super bored. Lol

@Telekill: You pay for plus to get those games. Not to sound entitled or anything, but Sony is pretty obligated to give you "free" games every month. Over the last couple of years, they have been giving away the bottom of the barrel one's.

@babyjoker1221: The obligation is to keep the PSN running which they don't have the best stability record. The games are a bonus. Just because we've gotten used to having them doesn't mean they are obligated to give them.

I love open world usually but every time I picked up a Just Cause game I got really bored really fast. Someone educated let me know: Does this world actually have anything to it this time? It never felt like a world, just a big space with unconnected things in it.

That's exactly the stuff I miss though, that's why I like PS+. If they offer like, I dunno, Bloodborne, that's an awesome game. But I'm 100% gonna have that already. I like the indies, smaller titles, DLC I would have missed out on.

Actually the games were the initial selling point of PS+. It's not a bonus it's a major part of the PS+ subscription
