With the release of the next-gen consoles fast approaching, I was wondering if anyone here is planning on buying and selling their consoles at a profit?

I know someone who has bought 2 PS4's and a X1 to sell again and if i remember correctly back in 06 there were PS3's being sold at $1100o_O

If you could make a profit I'd say go for it, there';s plenty to play elsewhere and games like Quantum Break, Infamous, Titanfall and Destiny won't be out for a few more months, by then the consoles will be readily available. Hell I wouldn't be surprised if they were available on Black Friday.

I don't think it's going to be that difficult to get one.

It probably wont be difficult to get one this month, but once stock runs out, and maybe early mind December, I doubt Sony will be making them fast enough to meet demand. At that point I can easily see both consoles going for over $1000. Its just my guess though.

Does anyone remember the situation with the 360/PS3 when they launched?

Were they easy to find or was it a struggle for awhile?

The Wii was the only thing I remember being hard to find. That thing was flying off shelves for a couple years.

I'd be willing to bet you could track down any console this holiday pretty easily.

It's a pretty smart move, not like there's shit to play at launch for either console anyway. Only thing is I think I've read that the 2 consoles will be pretty well stocked this time around, so it will be harder to sell it for a lot.
