Preorders are out. What did you guys get?

Pre-ordered a PS4 on Amazon last night the minute it was available.

I was able to pre order a PS4 but not an X Box One. I guess there were only 12 X Box One's available for pre order but 18 PS4's. Was anyone else successful? What did you get? Also Gamestop is saying that PS 4 controllers are going to be in short supply? Not sure if that is just a tactic or true. GoldenElementXL

I think RROD and PS3's poor launch titles has tainted buying consoles at launch for people

Pre-ordered the PS4 and XBOX ONE from Best Buy. Can't wait to make hundreds, maybe thousands of dollars on the drones who want consoles day one.

Probably, but consoles always have shit games at launch or a very low number of worthwhile titles and after you finish them you're stuck waiting for more

Yes I do. I have yet to come across something like this where it's sold out at every single retailer in the local area at once. So it's pointless to me to pre-order

yeah, even worse is that these new consoles lack BC so you can't pick up old games, while you wait

No one will make anything on the new consoles by selling it on ebay, just like the Wii U. There will be plenty of consoles.

I got a PS4 bundle from gamestop that included a controller and KZ4 for 520.00$. It only makes sense to get a bundle with the controller because it doesn't come with the core system

Just got back from GS and it was a tough decision, but I went with PS4. Heil68

I'm sure it was a very tough choice :P

I am only getting the PS4 and I am not getting it until Christmas 2014 at the earliest and only if it can be had for $300. If not, then I will wait until it does drop to $300. I have 0 interest in ever buying a console day one for many reasons.

1. I pay full price for the system.

2. Small library of games that are all full price.

3. I always let them work the bugs out with the hardware.

4. Not many friends to play with online when I am online.

If I wait, I get...

1. A cheaper console.

2. Larger game selection with many no longer being full price.

3. Bug free system (within reason).

4. More friends own the system for me to play online with.

With that said, I will never knock those of you that do. Because without you guy, the system would crash and burn. Then I would be PC only because I refuse to bother with the X1 or Wii U.

We'll see. People were buying Wii U pre-orders for double to triple the price of the console before it launched. MS released a statement saying that the pre-orders for the ONE have almost consumed their entire launch inventory so we could be seeing people paying big for the those pre-orders considering they are running out fast.

okay, that's what I thought.  As every console since forever has come with at least one controller.  Otherwise, that would be some extreme milkage

I pre-ordered both. Xbox One from MS website, and PS4 from Amazon.com.

I'm regretting the xbox one though, was an impulse purchase and thought I could cancel it later on but paypal already deducted the money.

PS4.

I'll probably cancel and wait a year though.

One thing that is weird is the fact Best Buy is not letting me pre-order an additional XBOX ONE controller. I was able to do this with the PS4 though.

Ps3 and the last of us.

I never preorder consoles. Hell, it's rare if I preorder a game. I've never had an issue getting a console when I wanted one.

well for someone like me, I don't have a PS3. So it's not like i can catch up on the Uncharted series or KH series while I wait
