And game quality is subjective.

But power leads to the possibility of a better game, and therefore a better system.
ie: Crysis 2 PC > Crysis 2 360... and its because of POWER!
[QUOTE="painguy1"]More gameplay elements?power allows the game to have a bigger scale & more gameplay elements.

let me rephrase...things that add to the gameplay. For example. Crysis's Zero G level cannot be done on a Wii for example. Also look at Final Fantasy XIII. It was very linear. SE had to make a choice. Good graphics or open world. If they had better hardware they could do both.

Better AI? Better animations? Bigger world with bigger npc count? Or do you think that these do not affect gameplay and power is only for prettier graphics.
I don't get why people abused the report button...[QUOTE="killzonexbox"][QUOTE="Gauloisess"]

aaaaaaaaaand you are reported to, for being reported!
you dawg...Hardware affects the games, but not their quality. A system with weak power can still produce awesome games. Just as a system with powerful specs can produce crappy games. Comes down to the developers in the end.

....why are u mad?
Good question. Perhaps I hurt his feelings or something :P
Actually power does make a system. The wii can't get any multiplats because it's hardware is trash.
Espada12
Good point. But that doesn't explain previous gens like PS vs. N64. The weak system that could hardly do 3D beated the powerful one and got hold of most multiplats that gen.
Wow, nobody has ever thought of this before.
I guess we can close down System Wars now.
We're through here.
Would some games even be possible without power?
mitu123
Theoretically you could make any game for any platform. The question is just how it would turn out :P
I ment that power isn't the most important thing.

Try something on the scale of Shogun on the PS3 or the 360.
