Mine is Call of Duty easily both games got bored of Call of Duty last November, so the change of theme to World War II freshened my experience I love it and hopefully will get bored of World at War before Modern Warfare 2 comes out.

i can't choose between gears and halo. I haven't played enough of killzone, but so far i don't think it's going to beat out halo or gears. i got left 4 dead on pc so that doesn't count, all the games in your poll are awesome though.

I know I'm a bit behind the times... But I just bought KZ2 this morning, and so far I'm loving it. It takes a while getting used to, and a couple of hours ago I went back and played some COD4 and I just can't anymore. After playing KZ2, any other shooter seems like your character is floating in a vacuum. Maybe it's just me, but that feeling of 'weight' that you get when you play sev in KZ2 is what makes it that much different. Otherwise it's a pretty generic shooter... Generic isn't always bad though :P

Metroid Prime is hardly a 'shooter' is it? I know it's in first person but the onus isn't on shooting things.

Halo 3 followed closely by the two newer CoDs. Killzone 2 and Gears would be in my tops, but there are a few before either of them.

Halo 2 for FPS. Halo 3 pales in comparison. Gears 2 for TPS. Wingman is so much fun! :D

It's more of an adventure game than a shooter game, which makes MP an FPA (first-person adventure). Call it an FPS, I don't really care, but "FPA" suits MP much better. People calling MP an FPS are usually those who haven't played the game.

What about rail shooters are they included as well cause if thats the case Time Crisis on PS3 would be up there with COD4, Halo3, and KZ2 for me
