Pokemon Direct for Sword/Shield release date & details reveal! Switch owners rejoice!

Highlights:

• Pokemon Sword/Shield release November 15
• Can purchase Sword or Shield or buy double pack both games included. No Switch Special edition just yet.
• Legendary Pokemon Zacian wields a Sword & Zamazenta is a Shield of it's own.
• Pokemon Gyms are coming back.
• Dynamax: Makes Pokémon giant in size and gives them incredible strength. All moves that Pokémon know will be turned into "powerful maximums." (with some changing entirely, not unlike Z-moves)

Now I'm hype, only because this is the first time ever Pokemon comes to the home console and loving what I'm seeing. I'm buying Pokemon Sword.

I watched the direct earlier and was really impressed with what they showed. I'm hyped and I have no clue which one to purchase yet.

The Sword legendary reminds me of Sif.

November is gonna be crowded.

I'm not even that avid of a Pokemon fan, but i'm buying the double-pack... This one has me interested.

@lundy86_4: I still haven't decided which version I'll get but I'll figure that out later. I'm surprised how much performance Nintendo packs out of something as portable as the Switch!

Double Pack is only recommended if you know someone in the family or friend wants to play Pokemon (opposite version) that other version can go to that person.

The selling point for me, now I just hope that:

• Pokemon actually interact with each other and the wild area. Like you see them sleeping, playing, mating, eating, fighting, dancing, and so on.
• If you are online other online players roam the Wild area and when offline NPC trainers do the same.
• You can challenge, trade, and team up with the trainers.
• There will be timed events that put past trainers in the wild area you can battle and team with.

All in all, I like the idea of Wild Area and I'm glad it's only a part of the whole game, rather than it being fully open-world.

Why? The PS4 is still getting all the Japanese AAA development.
