PlayStation loses another quality exclusive, We Love Katamari

We ❤️ Katamari REROLL + Royal Reverie will soon be rolling out on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4|PS5, and Steam. Following up from Katamari Damacy REROLL, which also cucked PlayStation with its release on Switch in 2018, followed up with a port orgy with Xbox One, Series X|S, and PS4, and PC in 2020. Good shit right there, and for a modest $29.99. Reviews go live in 3 hours, but who needs that bullshit.

I loved these games, can't wait to play this again. Downloading right now at the moment.

I don't remember Katamari being a PlayStation exclusive, PS4? PS5? When did that happened?

Anyway, We Love Katamari launch just in time for Pride Month so they knew what they were doing with the launch indeed😉

@davillain: PS2 with Katamari Damacy and We Love Katamari, then Me & My Katamari on PSP and Touch My Katamari on Vita, Katamari Forever on PS3, though Xbox did get Beautiful Katamari as an exclusive back on Xbox 360. Anyhow, these older classic needed to see light of day again, glad they are.

I loved Katamari Forever! How does this one compare? I seem to remember the vita being basically the same as Forever.

@dimebag667: gameplay in Katamari Forever was like all the others from what I remember, been a long time since I played it, I mostly just remember graphically it kind of had a different visual design like the game looked somewhat hand drawn, that's kind of unique to Katamari Forever, but very similar gameplay design and goals, fun levels, crazy soundtrack, hidden presents and other characters to roll up in every level

@TheEroica: I'd say yes, I'd start with the first game though, I think it's my overall favorite from its stage design, hub area, music, etc, as an overall well rounded package

I know the first one either is or was on Game Pass and wouldn't surprise me if it is or was on PS Plus Extra/Premium too, if you have those

If on fence, wait for a sale, but I'd recommend the first one for a best impression of something you've never tried
