I’m very hyped for Bayonetta 3 for sure, can’t wait to see anything and everything for this game let alone play it.

I still need to pick up Bayonetta 2 for the switch, LOVED the first one.

I wonder if one of those announcements have anything to do with Bayonetta 2's delisting from the eShop. It's an extremely specific thing to do especially when it's not going anywhere.

Bayonetta is a series I never understood definitely need to pick 2 on the switch.

Anyway, I'd love to get some Bayo 3 gameplay... I'm dying to see what it's like. Also, I'd really like a Nier Automata port.

Dont care much about Bayonetta but I am really interested in their project with square enix - Babylon Fall. Hopefully maybe a Nier sequel as well... or even better, a drakengard sequel.

Pls don’t **** up Bayonetta again and 60 frames pls. Which I know is really only 40 because consoles suck, but 30 frames is gross.

Tencent has invested in Epic, Blizzard, Riot games, has worked with the company that makes Granblue games. Tencent isn't investing in Platinum as an owner. So Platinum is very much independent, but they definitely owe Tencent some cash.

@jg4xchamp: Cool cool, thanks for clarifying. Still though, I wish devs would stay away from Tencent whenever possible. Especially good ones.

@Litchie: Nature of the business requires a lot of money, and need for third party investors. Especially for a studio like Platinum to fund their own games.

We still read dumb takes here like “they just spread themselves too thin and took the money to do”.....no the **** they didn’t, they made smaller teams to handle licensed games to get paid, and help keep the place moving while their bigger teams work on bigger productions.

Only reason it didn’t work out is because one game got cancelled, otherwise since they have been better received with both ass chain and nier auto tomato.

Gaming industry isn’t transparent about shit enough, and well the community the medium has isn’t exactly the thinking types, gotta spell shit out.

I wouldn't mind a Bayonetta 3 game. Couldn't care less about which company is investing in which company as long as good games are delivered.
