anyhow, the game at the center of this discussion is something about a game called Depression Quest, from what I can gather some are pissed because it got released around the same time Robin Williams died of his suicide

when you think about it though I've heard more TV personalities talking about Robin Williams discussing that more awareness or concern over depression needs to be addressed, I'd think a game like this that attempts to bring the struggles of depression to life isn't trying to exploit depression but bring awareness to it, so I guess Phil Fish is in the right for sticking up for this person I guess (if this is why the lady who made the game is getting shit for it), haven't seen the reviews myself though

It's a game where the central mechanic is only used for ultra bare-bones simplistic platforming and all of the puzzles have nothing to do with it, instead having you translate made up languages and input random button sequences in random locations.

Comparing Fish to Kamiya is ridiculous, regardless of context because Fish does this frequently. He's simply an ass that attacks everything. Nobody should support anything he does regardless of its quality.

Guy has issues. The internet is full of morons, because people you would normally avoid and have nothing to do with can easily encounter you. Imagine 20 people are talking smack and harassing you, that's 20 out of billions. They're not going out of their way to do it, and they don't reflect everyone.
