Persona 5 manages to look more amazing

Quick highlights:

• Two new part time jobs revealed, flower shop and convenience store
• There are 5 social stats, same as Persona 4
• Transitions are absurdly fluid, just pick a location and you're there, no intermediate screen
• Knocking all enemies down results in a "Hold Up!", where you can either negotiate with the demons at gunpoint or do an all out attack
• Baton touch is something you do after getting an extra turn, and it passes your turn to another party member, who gets some kind of bonus
• Arsene's first move is death element, but does damage.
• It looks like there's a late night time slot again
• One of the velvet twins was seen in dungeon at what looks like a save point
• There's a mystery gauge in the upper left corner.
• Morgana's English VA sounds a lot like Ashley Birch
• The entire video is in Japanese

Overall the game manages to look even better than it already did, which is rather impressive. Releasing against FFXV does no look like a stupid decision after today. It's going to be tough waiting until Valentine's Day.

FFXV is a lot better than Persona 5 imo

I've been on an informational blackout about this game since the release date announcement, I'm going to keep it that way for now.

Think this is the opinion of only die hard FF fans, from my pov it looks to be one of the biggest flops this gen has seen.

FFXV looks like utter crap save for the visuals

Me too. My hype is building back up because I started playing P4G again. My hype had completely died due to the constant delays.

Persona 5 will be my game of the year. FFXV will be flop of the year. I want to play P4G now on my new Vita TV...

This. the more I see of FFXV the more awful it looks. P5 all the way.

I cant say that i am that big of FF fan and FFXV may very well flop but hey when compared to some weird dating sim FFXV will go out as winner. FFXV got open world to explore, much more exciting imo.

And the last party member has been announced, Goro Akechi. He's a high school detective, and that's about all we know. He looks to join the Phantom thieves sometime in the game though, as seen by his presence in the fourth trailer.

Persona 5 looks great. Wish Sony showed it a lot more at their press conference.
