I wouldn't go that far, but it'd be nice to never need to buy another Nintendo console just for a handful of games. Their hardware and online infrastructure are by far the worst in the industry. I like some of their games. Some of their games I couldn't care less about. My Switch is currently covered in dust.

I am the one hunting them. With games such as the Pokemon App, there's enough laughing stock content coming out from Nintendo.

Personally I think Nintendo should release a nostalgia console (not NES Mini). Only games that came out in 80s-90s allowed. It could be digital, with physical option. They could start producing cartridges again. Would be awesome. Would buy.

Honestly the Switch is a bad console. Nintendo make good games, but the hardware is not good. My opinion, of course.

So it's more like... I feel sad when I see a good-looking Switch exclusive because I know it will be compromised in several ways. I worry about it a little bit, but that's all.

Luckily the GOAT, Golf Story, runs just fine on Switch.

I own a Switch, but I would LOVE for Nintendo to release games on PC. Games like Mario Maker would be AMAZING on PC. (I feel the same about Dreams on Ps4 coming to PC)

That sums up how closed-minded Nintendo are. At least PC gamers benefit from emulation to an extent.

Herms have a lot of pride. Don't think they will admit a $299 underpowered machine has trumped PC.

Nintendo doesn't do it because they have integrity.

To be honest, in some ways I think Nintendo's absence is a bit more tolerable than Sony's. The reason being that the family oriented couch-coop kind of styling 1) lends itself better to the living room, 2) runs similar (or often better) one their weak-ass hardware as Sony games do on Playstations, and 3) the Switch is a way better companion to PC hardware-wise, because it actually allows you to play in different ways instead of being just a locked down PC. Stings less buying one.

There aren't many good Nintendo games these days, but it would be nice to have Nintendo release them on PC. There are other ways of playing Nintendo games on PC though. ;)

I play on PC and personally recently I think its worthless to own nintendo products due to the advancements of emulators. PC users seems to have a high fixation to emulate nintendo games.

A question you could also ask PlayStation and XBOX fans, and the answer is the same: Why the flying f*** would they want Nintendo games? They have their alternate choices.

I used to really enjoy Nintendo games however Iost interest once the Wii came out and never looked back. Metroid prime was my favourite game at the time of release.

It's just too bad the really good console for actual gamers, the GameCube, didn't sell. Great hardware and amazing library. But since it didn't sell they had to resort to chasing people who don't play games. Enter Wii. Sadly they succeded, and Nintendo is now a pretty boring shell of what they were.

Primarily PC gamer with a switch here, for the majority of the year the Switch sits there collecting dust until an exclusive that interests me, and while playing said exclusive my hands cramp on the awkward controller and my eyes bleed from the jaggies and low resolution, just dreaming about how much more enjoyable it would be on a machine with more than rock bottom specs.

No, not really. I like Zelda, but haven't desired anything else Nintendo since I beat BOTW back in 2017 on the Wii U. Even then I don't loose sleep over it.

If i had the choice i would certainly pick the PC version of nintendos games.

of all of them though Nintendo is the least likely to do it. They saw what was coming with the hardware race 15 odd years ago and noped out of it. so they don't need to be a multiplat dev. if they can survive the wiiu then their capacity to operate with a smaller userbase is pretty solid.

If they were to do it they would probably still do it in an odd way by tying it to their own controller exclusively or something...get that peripheral money. That would be a mixed bag. on the one hand i love an interesting controller. on the other hand nintendo would probably have the driver locked down and encrypt the comms to the nth degree so that only their games can work with it. not very PC at all.

Unlike sony or MS, they also have no PC dev experience so a lot of games would come out...well....rough. think og Dark souls on the PC rough.
