List of Big and Interesting PC Exclusives .

There are 100s of small indie games that release every year only on PC , these are not included in the list .

Note 1 : Games , that are comparable to Minecraft , Hotline Miami , Resogun and other small indie games are not included . Only games with higher production values are added in the list . The ones with good looking visuals , voice acting , proper soundtracks , innovative gameplay and/or open world features etc

I may have missed a lot of games so please feel free to name a few in the comments .

@Cloud_imperium: Orcs Must Die! Unchained was announced recently for PC. OMD! is a popular franchise on PC and it's from ex-Ensemble devs.

all of these are not exclusives, but at least PS has released more news about games.

Some of those games I've never heard of before look ok but nothing special currently.

I'm mostly excited for Star Citizen, Elite Dangerous, Van Helsing 2, Next Car Game, Torment and new Civ game.

But scores and awards say otherwise.

Let's be srs, PC has become nothing more than an indie machine.

If you want to play the best games of the gen you simply need a console.

No indies really? Nearly all of these games are from indie developers.

This, however thats not always a bad thing.

Totally agree . That's is the reason why I left console gaming . Every game feels exactly the same as previous one , "Shoot , QTE , Cutscene" , "Shoot , QTE , Cutscene" , "Shoot , QTE , Cutscene" over and over and over and over again .

I can't get experience like Total War on consoles , or games like Star Citizen and other complex games . As far as awards go , PC games do get plenty of those but frankly I don't care . I can find the game for myself , the game that is meant for me instead following what corporations tell us . The day when Modern Warfare 2 got GOTY was the day when my faith for these (paid) awards was lost .

As far as Sony exclusives go , I've yet to see a game which is not about some street thug or douche bag . There is not even a single AAA sci fi game on Sony's console in recent memory like Star Citizen or Fantasy RPGs like Witcher or Complex RTS like Total War . 90% of games are set in present day with next to no lore in its universe .

Lol at mentioning Stalker when you want to talk about quality games. Stalker is nothing more than an average shooter and has been forgotten by most just like every other mediocre shooter.

And of course PC has a big history, it's always been around.

But keep up with your delusions. Look at the facts, console games are VASTLY superior in terms of production value,... and getting a ton of awards is a logical consequence.

Meanwhile PC gets a ton of indies that are rated with lower standards. And guess what PC exlusives are almost never rewarded with any GOTY award ever.

Most PC exclusives are of lower quality than console exclusives. I know the facts are hard for hermits though.

Please let me know when any major gaming site/mag gives a PC exclusive a GOTY award. Meanwhile have fun missing out on the best games that gaming have to offer, only available on consoles. Have fun with your mediocre shooters and indies though LOL

Cyberpunk will not be PC exclusive. CDPR has gone full on multiplatform with all their big budget games. Why would they ignore the consoles?

I played Stalker, it was an average shooter nothing more, nothing less.

But for a PC only gamer like who has lower standards I guess you can find it good. But for me who has higher standards, the game was mediocre.

It's called Assetto Corsa, please add it to the list! It counts as a 2014 release because it is still in early-access stage on steam. This game is the best driving simulator I've ever played (especially on a wheel) it's so good and it isn't even been finished yet!! Check it out TC :P

Hey this is an interesting thread. Lot of games that look quite nice that i didn't know of. Might add Serious Sam 4 into this since it is Indie and has cutting edge graphics and tech like always. No Minecraft pixels.

You say "no indie" then you go ahead and post tons of indie games...

Indie developer just means no publisher. A lot of those games you posted are self published. Budgets are irrelevant to indie game status. Generally they are lower budget but that's not always the case.

I'll be getting 12 of those games, my wallet is gonna cry but I wanna try out my new PC when it comes so bring it!.

Also Black Desert has no EU/NA release yet and it's only for Korea atm
