Maybe, been thinking about getting one but there are no games that are interesting enough so far (to me) to warrant the purchase. I'd need to know more about the game though.
Imagine if the From/Sony partnership is for multiple games.
They'd effectively lock them down from hitting other systems for an entire generation. There would be no choice but to own a ps4 if you wanted more Souls.
Nah, it really doesn't change my gameplan, which is to wait four five years after the PS4 has launched; by then there will be enough exclusive games to warrant a purchase. Although at that point I may have moved on to amazing levels of PC gaming, and simply couldn't go back to 30fps games.
Yes, I'm planning on getting one anyway once it gets a decent selection of worthwhile games, and I imagine that'll finally happen when it comes out. Of course if it's on PC I'll get it for that instead.

And I see a lot of tears and butthurting from people who were praising Dark Souls (the multiplat version of the souls games) in here (hermits, lems). lol funny how mad you clowns look saying this when you were in love with the franchise when you had the chance to finally experience it. Now that you can't play it on your favorite piece of plastic the you don't care, the series sucks or you'll wait for the port, lol. Glad I don't have to show such butthurt, I didn't choose the wrong system.
I've been waiting for some must own titles in order to get a PS4 and if this game does get released I would definitely purchase one. So far neither the XBox1 nor the PS4 have any games that interest me. Project Beast could sway me in Sony's direction however.
I will be getting a PS4 for GT7, Dragon's Dogma 2, Uncharted 4, The Last of US sequel (or equivalent) and GTA6 anyway, it might make me get a PS4 sooner assuming it comes out before the rest of the games mentioned drop in price a bit first.
Currently the only game that is exclusive to this new gen that I've been wanting to play is Killer Instinct. I'm still waiting for more games that interest me. It's ganna take more than one game to make me decide on a console.

How is what I said irrelevant? OP asked if Project Beast would cause PC/360 Dark Souls fans to buy a PS4. I said no, it doesn't really change my overall strategy, which is to play most games this gen on my PC, then pick up whichever console I think has the best exclusives once enough time has gone by to truly justify the purchase. I don't see why that pisses you off so much. If I was going to use my PS4 to play ALL of my games, then yeah, I'd buy it far sooner, but why would I do that when I have a PC which plays games better? I don't have an immediate need for a PS4. I'd rather wait, let the price of the console and the games go down, then do a big buy out where I get a big library of exclusives that'll last me a while.
Now, if Project Beast runs at 60fps....that could throw a kink in my plans.

I will buy a PS4 anyway when the time comes. But if Project beast turns out to be as good as Dark Souls 1,2 and Demon's souls, then I will buy a PS4 as soon as possible.

The game exists. Hidetaka Miyazaki and half the Demon's/Dark Souls team have been working on it since Dark Souls came out. They chose not to do DS2 and move on to this game, that's a fact. Whether it's actually Demons Souls 2 or PS4 exclusive is another matter, but it exists

My PS4 has been languishing since Dark Souls 2 and Infamous came out. I've beat all the games except Thief, and I just don't really want to play that anymore. I only really bought it because there was one left at Gamestop in January after being sold out since launch. I would buy one for an exclusive Demons Souls sequel, though I also bought one for the free Outlast.
