From Eurogamer

‘It’s still brilliant. It really is. And on Xbox One X, Crackdown is even better than you remember it. The 2007 classic scales up wonderfully to 4K resolution, but the biggest takeaway here is that, remarkably, the gameplay still holds up - it's still utterly superb. I picked up the game exactly where I left off - with a tooled up, maxed-out Agent ready to take on the final gang left in the game, the villainous Shai-Gen. What happened next is Crackdown at its best: absolute carnage on the streets of Pacific City, urban warfare on a simply spectacular scale. It is - quite possibly - the best £1.50 I've ever spent on a game.’

I’m loving the care MS is putting into these older games. The original Crackdown is one of the most fun open world games there is in my opinion.

Their Xbox360 enhanced games are awesome. And they're showing how you should do backwards compatibility.

Forza: Horizon looks ridiculously good as well.

Well they got no new games. May as well go back to old classics and give them a little love.

Yeah it's pretty awesome, MS doing it properly (unlike some)... I hope they keep enhancing these 360 games.

I'd love to have Orange Box in 4k

Framerate still tanks in the same scenarios. Interesting.

Agreed. Sure beats buying a remaster. Juice up the games I already own.

@Epak_: Okay....that's fine, we have different standards/viewpoints.

The game is still no match to the maxed out PC version, but as per the DF analysis, it is still a very nice upgrade from the 360 version :

"In conclusion, it's well worth revisiting this title, whether you're gaming on Xbox One X or indeed on PC. Microsoft's back-compat team have teased out the definitive version of a game that shouldn't really exist on console, expertly building upon CD Projekt Red's brilliant conversion work. However, if you're a PC owner, it's also worth revisiting The Witcher 2 - one of the last triple-A titles truly built from the ground up for the platform, a bespoke experience built with scalability in mind that still looks rather sensational on ultra HD displays."

@i_p_daily: Yeah he's been a bit irrational of late.
