One of the one feature, next thing you want in the next nintendo system?
The switch is perfect but I wish it had at least double the battery life.
What say you?

I'm pretty damn happy with the Switch and I don't have many complaints about it for things that they need to improve with their next console.
I guess the thing that I would most like to see even though there is probably no chance of it happening would be for Nintendo to make their face button layout match how it is on the Xbox controller. It confuses my muscle memory sometimes that the A/B and X/Y buttons on the Switch controller are in the reverse position from where they are on the Xbox controller. This is an even bigger problem this generation since besides that one difference, the Switch Pro controller and the Xbox controller otherwise feel very similar.
Just Nintendo exclusive games and there's nothing on my mind what I wanna see next on Nintendo's console.
I know this will never ever happen but. I wish Nintendo would start bringing there games to PC starting next-gen would be even more awesome if they do that.
I doubt it'll happen but I would enjoy if Nintendo would offer 2 models of their console. A regular console like the Switch we have now and a Switch Enhanced version; obviously being able to output games at higher resolutions, better visuals, HDR, and include some of the benefits that the Xbox One X & Playstation 4 Pro bring. HDR in particular is just amazing.
@storm_of_swords: yeah, um, blame Sega and M$ for that. They're where they're supposed to be on Nintendo's controller- Sega copied and changed, then M$ copied and changed Sega because thief focus group told them DC controller was best. Nintendo invented the controller layout you use regardless of which of the three big names you game on.
a REAL fucking D-pad
Sounds like a D-pad is the real winner.
For fighting games its bad. trying to do hadoukens and shoryukens is a challenge

I'm a huge Nintendo fanboy, but I don't care if Nintendo was the first to do an ABXY diamond layout. The fact is, they then abandoned that layout for multiple generations and in that time Sega, Microsoft, and every single other company that made a controller with an ABXY diamond layout all positioned the buttons in the same order that it is currently positioned on the Xbox controller and therefore that layout became the standard. Maybe if Nintendo had stuck with the ABXY diamond layout instead of abandoning it then maybe their button positioning order would have become the standard, but that did not happen.
I don't give a damn who was first, I just want to have a standard to prevent confusion. After Nintendo abandoned the ABXY diamond layout, the standard was created and every controller that used that layout over the past 20 years has followed it. Nintendo is now the only one putting the buttons in reverse order, so I think that Nintendo should put their pride aside and follow the standard that most people have gotten used to over the past 20 years to prevent confusion. Especially when they make their Pro controller feel nearly identical to the feel of a Xbox controller just with the buttons in reverse order. That just makes it really confusing for people that play on both the Xbox and the Nintendo Switch.
@storm_of_swords: Nintendo has used this layout & button position on SNES, GC, Wii, WiiU, Switch, DS, & 3DS. How are they "reversed"? Why in the world would they change to adapt to a button layout that they created, and have been using since the early 1990's, just because other gaming companies don't know what letters should belong where? That's the dumbest thing I've seen on the whole Internet this year. Even Sony, who adapted Nintendo's layout but labled buttons with shapes, knew what they were doing. Have you ever wondered why the shapes they chose are laid out like they are? Sony's circle is in the same position as Nintendo's A, which used to be the default "accept", Sony's X button is where Nintendo's B is which was the default "cancel". Over time humans got real dumb and switched for no reason. Nintendo isn't backwards you are, the earth isn't flat, Tide Pod's aren't tasty candies and Caitlin is a man. All true facts.
Import the d pad from the snes into the pro controller and it will become the best controller of all time. Other than that Nintendo really nailed it with the Switch for my needs.
Is this based off a rumour about a new more powerful system from Nintendo..let's call it a Switch Pro?.. :P ..not believable ..lol..
Actual online features not being tied to a phone app.
I think the dpad on the pro controller is fine.

For platformers it's surprisingly efficient.
I would like to not a see a next System. Nintendo needs to just give up on hardware. But they are not going to.
I would die if I had to see my precious Mario on all of that same gen hardware. Nintendo finds a way to make it feel special to play it on their platforms. Hence why the switch is so beloved. It's not just a system, it's fun to own and to imagine everything on it. Really, never had that experience before with a console.
Meanwhile I have zero excitement for my PSbore and xbdone.
I think Nintendo should offer GameCube controller support for more games in their next system outside of Smash and I would be content.
I don't care about that myself(pro controller suits Smash just fine for me) but would be all about Gamecube games getting released on the Switch.
@n64dd: More power. Useless console to me if I can't play all the 3rd party games at a decent level.
@Pedro: "Nintendo needs to just give up on hardware."
Everytime you talk about something in the lines of sales and companies, you're wrong.
DS, 3DS were extremely successful, switch is being extremely successful.
Why would Nintendo give up on hardware? So you can play Mario on your precious Xbox? Sorry lemming, not gonna happen.
The only one of the big 3 that's constantly failing is M$.
@n64dd: That's but one game. Nintendo consoles are nearly always second choice consoles...you have one of PS4 or Xbox and a Nintendo. Great first party games, but so behind when it comes to features and hardware.
I would like Nintendo to quit making consoles. They are constantly 20 years behind everyone else.
Behind, which is why their competitors always copy their ideas? Motion? Analog stick? Vibration?

Not a bad idea. With widescreen support hopefully. I really want a port of the Twin Snakes.

Kinda funny really.
The only "Risk" Sony has taken in forever is VR ... and its a luke warm result all-round.
Even when they attempted to beat Nintendo with the PSP and PSVR they still failed miserably. Yet here comes Nintendo again and perfects the Handheld Console that can act as a full console (outside of power limitations).

because we should all only be buying Playstations dur.

I have them all so I guess I never see that portion.
proper triggers. nintendo made some of the best triggers for the gamecube. proper dual stage triggers: a pleasure to use. then, for reasons i struggle to fathom, they stopped. maybe they just didnt find them useful internally for development.
also, and this applies to everyone, flappy paddle buttons like the steam/elite controller. hell they could make an addon for the switch that offers that.
if they are going to go down the hybrid route again then please use industry standards. why didnt the switch use a mini HDMI port or something? its dissapointing that someone has to use the dock just to make it work on the telly.
other than that: a surprise. continue to think outside the box a bit please.
