What do you think? I'm torn on whether to get it or not.

The game looks amazing. I am not kidding--I think it looks better than the new forza.

Looks good, will control tight, and will be a blast for some couch competition.

I am a huge Mario Kart fan. It's probably my favorite Mario branded series. This game looks amazing. Day 1 for sure.

Ugh...the Wii Wheel....

This only makes it sadder that Nintendo wasted an entire generation on the Wii when the beautiful world of Nintendo could have been in HD.

Anyway yeah, this looks amazing. It's really a shame the WiiU wasn't just a tad more powerful because if they could get the 3rd party support to go with 1st party support they've always had it could be an amazing console.

Nah, even if they did have the power, they STILL wouldn't have the support. I've learned that from N64 and GameCube (both of which had other problems, but still).

Those motion controls looked unresponsive as ****..good thing i'll be using the Analog stick like a normal person.

I'll take normal controls. Really the only thing the Wii Wheel is good for is not needing controllers (nunchucks, wii u pros, classic controllers) for the rest of your friends that are playing. >:)

@freedomfreak: Monster Hunter is awesome in mutli player. Bayonetta2 has 2 player, X should have multi player online too.

Oh yeah, racing game of the gen. I'll definitely play using the Wii Wheel, the best way to play.

I'm going to use the tablet. That way I can honk my horn at people who get in the way.

Looks really good, although I hope they removed the rubber banding that the Wii kart game suffered from, that really ruined that game.

It might be 720p, but still looks amazing. Smash is the only confirmed 1080p game, 3D world is 720p, even though I don't see any reason why it's not 1080p... Was the same thing with NSMBU, maybe EAD is having a tough time getting to grips with the hardware, which is weird.

Not that all Wii U games should be 1080, just that those particular games look like they should be.

I would be shocked if the game doesn't allow for them. Mario Kart Wii allowed traditional controls, and the Wii U isn't nearly as motion-based as the Wii.

You can use the wii-mote and nunchuck, Wii U gamepad or Wii U pro as well as the Wheel.

Based from that video, I think I'd much rather continue playing Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. Those motion controls better be optional.

This is what the Wii version could've been how many years ago? This is what happens when you're a gen behind competition.

I used the wheel during the Wii iteration and it was very responsive. I mean I was able to get the Gold Wheel 3 Stars. So anyone fearing the responsiveness of the wheel, ease your doubts.

1. Who the hell cranks up the speed for that long at the start of an MK race? Are these guys new to MK?

2. Just for those people who say it looks slow as hell it's probably 50 CC.

3. These guys suck pretty hard.

4. Motion controls are whatever. Should be amusing for a few minutes I guess.

5. We have seen this stage in a previous demo.

I can understand Mario Galaxy. I can understand Super Smash Bros. But why the hell do people make shit like this?

I actually meant the game. I really like Mario franchise, but there are way too many Mario games out there and Mario Kart is one of the worst I tried. Then again, that's just me.

Nintendo should start innovating. After their great move with the first Wii, everything they did with WiiU looks like "let's play it safe". Even the games.

Yeah Mario has been getting a lot to himself hasn't he? I would say it has been like that for ages though. MK is one of the better games out of the Mario franchise imo, but I can totally see why some would despise it.

I'm hoping for some new creativity as well. X I think is a step in the right direction, but I do wish for another mascot caliber IP. Of course it has to be quality as well not just something new for the sake of being new.

I find it hilarious when sheeps talk about their game being 1080p 60fps.
