HYPE is no longer valid and outside sources can be used at will. Games can not FLOP anymore.

Sure, if you want to try and track a game's hyped Gamespot score within its hype thread, you are free to do so. Just remember, it doesn't hold any 'official sanction' anymore- so if The Last of Us 2 scores an 8 after being hyped 10, it doesn't make that game a flop, I'm afraid.

That being said I can see the game getting 8.0 here.

8/10 on Gamespot. 88 aggregated.

Game should score well amongst critics, its part 4 of an established series, so just give fans what they always wanted in an Uncharted title and close out the story with a bang, as far as I know they are not taking huge risks here so it should turn out great for fans.

For various reasons this series never really interested me, mostly because of the cast and the overall story premise, it just reminds me of Indiana Jones. The gameplay looks great though and the other day I saw a long clip with the Jeep outside, and that looks really fun and I like the attention to detail with the mud on the tires, etc.

I hope fans get what they want out of this game. I'm thinking it should get minimum 8-9 here considering how past UC games scored....I voted 9.

And dude, if you would have gone all out with that MS Paint style I would have nominated this up for best hype thread of the year. Like, seriously. I spent a shit ton of time and effort on my Twilight Princess 8.8D Hype Thread and then your thread comes around and I'm like, "damnit, this is great." XD If you would have drawn out the special editions cases and everything else, no production shots or whatever, no official artwork or graphics, I would rate this 10/10.

I never been one that was ever too excited with any of the previous Uncharted games. Didn't even think Uncharted 2, the most celebrated of them, was all that special or anywhere remotely worth the hype. That being said, this upcoming one does peak my interest quite a bit, so looking forward to it.

LOL I love getting you all SDF. Game will be great fun regardless of the score it gets, but I'm still going to call anything that doesn't reach the hype a flop. That's what QB, DS3 faced with GS scores. Uncharted 4 will get no quarter. Its a mod's call, not official as in a paid employee of GS putting it into the code of conduct for the forum

Is the first 3 on the same level as the last of us? Never played uncharted game.

I don't think any review site is going to risk loss of credibility by giving this less than a 9, so that's what I'll go with.

As far as the game itself I expect it'll be a good weekend rental, but nothing more.

At the absolute worst I see it getting a 9. I'm voting for a 10.
