@lundy86_4: This Guardians game really took me by surprise how fun it is. I'm just getting past done with Lady Hellbender without given any spoilers here, I'll just say the game really focus on being a team player and I just got out of the police space station. Whoever is voicing Drax is clearly good at impersonating Batista Drax version. So far, the PC version runs good while I'm using ray-tracing.

@davillain-: Yeah, I hit chapter 10 today, and I like how they did get a lot of the humour right. I agree with the VA... Seems like they wanted to riff on the MCU version and I think they all did a solid job.

I have been getting a lot of bugs, such as audio cutting out, NPCs not being where they need to be and disappearing when trying to progress through a level, but still really enjoying the game.

Finished up GotG today. All-in-all the game was decent fun, and had an enjoyable story.

Tetris for the NES.

Accomplishment for someone like me who's trash at the game.

This might just be my favorite 2D Metroid. Burenia is mesmerizing

Little Nightmares is pretty good - not a huge fan of the "sloppy" style platforming mechanics, but they are rarely frustrating

San Andreas: Definitive Edition. Or Escape from Butcher Bay.

Recently replayed Cyberpunk. More optimized now. getting 70+ FPS with raytracing on 99% of the time.

Performs better than what I thought. Still not as fun as current BF4.

Finished Little Nightmares. I liked it a lot - pretty satisfying ending, lol. I definitely looking forward to rotating the sequel in at some point!

Alan wake remaster.

Finally giving Shadow of the Tomb Raider a try - they just upgraded the DLSS support etc a few days ago. I'm really enjoying it a lot so far, actually - more than I did RotTR most of the time. Not sure what all the negativity was about. We'll see - about 10 hours in

@xantufrog: I am mad that I they decided to update the game with DLSS 2.0 months after I played it. Would have really been able to play with a stable 60fps with RT on.

Anyway tried out Halo Infinite, the game looks good but still needs to work on its optimization, even when I lower settings it still runs the same and it just drops to lower framerates at some point that I have no choice but to restart the game.

@NoodleFighter: yah it runs like a champ at over 60 with rtx and looks good doing it now. Glad I waited

A Fisherman's Tale - really cute and creative VR game. Short, but in a good way (~1.5 hours) - it knows what story it wants to tell and what puzzles it wants to present without rehashing or overstaying its welcome

Played some Forza Horizon 5.

Great game.

I finally got around to playing Gears 5 Hivebusters and I'm playing it with a dualsense too :P. I forgot that playing in HDR will make screenshots come out washed out.

edit: just finished Hivebuster I was really starting to enjoy it and wanted more by the time the boss fight was over. The jungle scenery looks amazing even better than the base game graphics. Can't wait to see what The Coalition pulls off with the Xbox Series X and higher end PCs on UE5.

Been a few years since I last played it. I think this might be my best run. Two hours and forty minutes. There was only one 3D special stage that I didn't get a perfect score in (which gives you a life and a continue). Anyone who knows the game knows which one I'm talking about. Barely bothered with any of the checkpoint special stages. Mostly just sped through the game. Also, because I still don't know where most of the giant rings are, I was one power emerald away from failing the run (not becoming Hyper Sonic). If I have to go back after finishing the game, then it's a failed run. That's also why I took so long. Had to waste time searching for giant rings after failing two or three special stages in the second half of the game.

Finished Shadow of the TR last week. Really enjoyed it - definitely my favorite of the 3 because it wove exploration and platforming into the core game loop much much more (i.e., even though you kill a shit ton of people it feels more like TR and less like murder simulator)

Been playing some AC Valhalla DLC, also my first screenshots in ultrawide!
