Anybody found out a good way to replenish magic out on the overworld? I'm in the desert and coffee costs 200 per bottle, and this refills a measly10 magic points which basically makes it a waste of money as a single spell can use that much (if not more). I can't afford to spend 1,000 gold to refill 50mp, especially when enemies drop on average 50 gold per battle. And as I can't control how much my A.I. ally spends in a fight, she's always drained.

This isn't such a problem when I can just return to an inn but it's making boss battles difficult as I'm not able to use magic for more than a few minutes, if that. Drops do help but there's never enough as they're only 5-10 and come rarely. Anyone have some tips or maybe an item I'm missing that reduces the cost and ups the amount bought? Because as it is magic is pretty much being rendered irrelevant when not near an inn.

Most negative review I've read so far.

I don't have the game yet so I can't comment, but this review makes me wonder if they actually finished the game, or just played the first few hours.

EDIT: i really didnt read the whole review. This is an old school turn based wrpg. if you like those then buy it.. if you dont , then save your money (although i recommened everyone buy it , since its amazing)

The game is gorgeous. IMO that's all it's got going for it.

Just saying that it's clearly not an 8-9-10/10 It's an average game that seems to have forgotten a few fundamentals that make a game really great.
Edit: I also only played the two parts in the demo. left a 30 dollar taste in my mouth, not a 60

I haven't been this involved in a RPG in a long time.. Everything just seems to click. Art style , story , fimiliars , gameplay.. It just seems to flow so smoothly. This is a game not to be missed. Its a must buy for everyone!ultraking

Also, from a personal point of view unless we want to admit to there being "conspiracies" on SW to lower/heighten the hype for any particular game I don't really think we should have a rule saying a "game can't exceed it's hype". It was hyped AAE, it go AAAE deal it with. Likewise if it had received a lower rating than AAE. Only way the metagame can remain "fun and pure" for all sides :P Just my 2 cents.

Just about finished up ding dong dell last night.

Games really good.

The only minor minor gripe I have even though it makes sense is I wish familiars had their own life bar rather than share it with ollie.

Sure fine, like a I said a new gen is a great time for that. However, going back to the can't exceed hype proposition. What would stop factions from voting AE or een B on all hype threads? With B technically it wouldn't be a flop no mater how low a score i would get :P Kind of a loophole no? It would take away the risk of even voting AAE and it getting a lower score.

I really think we should keep it simple, but if the possible new changes are good I would welcome them. We just need to make sure the rules aren't ambiguous nor allow any sort of exploitation :P
