Kingdom Hearts Final Mix

In the original and Final Mix versions of Kingdom Hearts, the command menu had four commands: Attack, Magic, Items, and a fourth context-sensitive slot that varied depending on what the player had targeted, where they were, etc. The command menu has been updated to include "Attack", "Magic", "Items", and "Summons" in the fourth slot, which was originally located as a sub-category beneath the "Magic" menu. The original fourth command has been replaced by the introduction of Reaction Commands from Kingdom Hearts II and are triggered by pressing the Triangle Button. The camera will work more similarly to that of Kingdom Hearts II, utilizing the right thumb stick to move the camera and allowing the player to click the R3 button to reset the camera behind Sora, as opposed to the original game which made use of the shoulder triggers L2 and R2 to position the camera. Overall, the gameplay of Kingdom Hearts Final Mix was modified so it would play more similarly to Kingdom Hearts II and Re:Chain of Memories, to create a more consistent play style throughout the series.

It will be available in North America, Europe and Australia for the first time as part of the collection.

Kingom Hearts 2.5 HD collection??

It has been rumored that at the end of the 1.5 Remix collection once all 3 games are finished a teaser of the next collection will show up which teases Kingom Hearts 2: Final Mix, Kingom Hearts Birth By Sleep and Kingdom Hearts Coded to be in the next collection which may get announced later this month in Japan at TGS.

Why is this collection only on PS3??

Sadly Kingdom hearts isn't a very good game series and we likely won't see KH3 for another 3-4 years.

Really wish it wouldn't be Coded but Dream Drop Distance... Coded can be left by the wayside for all I care.

By far the worse game in the series.

Actually i dont see this collection as a negative thing at all, this is a very smart move by SE to not only get money to help fund KH3 ( not that they need money to fund it since Se is a big company ) but its a very good move to bring in those who never got the chance to play the games on PS2 all in 1 collection PLUS this collection will include the Final Mix version which for the very first time is coming over in English.

Final mix version if you dont know actually goes through the story even deeper and has better controls, more bosses, more area's, etc

a collection like this is awesome to refresh our memory getting ready for KH3.

I don't know how someone could think that, even vanilla KH2 is way better than KH1. The best thing about KH1 is the stronger Disney atmosphere.

I would be shocked if its coded and not DDD. Since DDD is ya know actually important while coded can not exist and nothing would change. Anywho I already have it pre ordered for the artbook. I also never beat COM so that will be played when I get it.

True but I'll admit I died a couple times against the last couple bosses in KH1. I only died once in KH2 and Mickey "reviced?" me.

Can't wait for this and can't for 2.5!!  Birth By Sleep is by far my favorite in the series and can't wait to replay it in 1080p!!

Not really, KH2 is way better when you equip EXP Zero, you can't button mash at all and the gameplay drastically changes.

The story is dumb, but it isn't a fault for me, pressing triangle isn't a negative, and the dumb mini games (the Gummi ship, unless you want to include a skippable world) are also in KH1.

Normally I wouldn't buy an HD release of games I already own, but that final mix edition...

I've been wanting to fight that secret Organization boss ever since I saw a video on it as a young kid. Sephiroth just didn't cut it anymore when you could smack him around with the Spellbinder.

I can play WW with three heart containers but that doesn't change my mind on the faults of the overall game (ie. the forgettable dungeons). Hence it's a lame excuse especially since the gameplay in both games is shallow but moreso in the second one.

I'm not a fan of the gummi ship mini game either but I rather play the Gummi Ship mini game the number of times required in KH1 then sing with Ariel.

Xbox got it right for once... starve everyone for years before next gen launch to get them hyped for a game...any game to play... hell even a free to play arcade fighter looks good to them...lol..

My case is that KH > KH2 and I am correct.

If it only had KH2 it would be perfect. However it is on my must-buy list. 

I only have one question how come there is going to be trophies for a 3 hour movie?
