Sony really should not have skipped out this year.... they look silly after both Microsoft and Nintendo had solid events. They let their competition get away with murder in a year that they could have easily taken some headlines.

I guess I’ll go with Microsoft for the sake of this poll because they are going all out with Game Pass and giving people the option to play on more devices.

Sony for me. The only publisher really pushing SP action adventure games. Saw nothing this E3 to convince me otherwise.

Obviously MS. They weren't doing very well in software and hardware but their Gamepass push and their ability to finally show some new games are putting them on the right path.

Compare MS last summer to this year and you can see the improvement. If this keeps up, Sony and MS might have a real fight on their hands and that's good for all of us.

Between MS & Nintendo, they show off really great games coming this year and next year, its hard for me to say but I'll say that both MS & Nintendo wins this years E3 and this is a draw!

There will always be independent developers and publishers outside of the big three. Some independent devs don't thave the funding they need to build the game they want. So they either sign exclusivity deals with Sony/MS/Nintendo or they get bought out and get their funding. Some games might never see the light of day without one of these companies stepping in and funding them.

WTH is going on here. Every youtuber said nintendo easily won e3 and on SW you have people brainwashed voting sony and microsoft. I'm so sick of this place Modern Vintage gamer said nintendo won e3 easily than they did its just what is system wars start voting like everyone else.

Well I'm kind of biased because I only have Nintendo's console so from my vantage point Nintendo has the brightest future. What I seen from E3 will ensure me that I'll be able to play a lot of great jrpgs for the next two or even three years.

The same platform that had a brighter future before E3, continues to have a brighter future after E3. The Xbox Series X. Nothing really changed at E3.

We know what Xbox's roadmap for the next 3 years looks like, and even then, a significant enough portion of its first party is still unnacounted for.

We know nothing about Sony's roadmap beyond Horizon and God of War, and outside of Insomniac, all of Sony's studios are accounted for, so who even could make anything else? Expect a 3 year+ sabbatical from NaughtyDog, Sucker Punch, Bend Studios, for example.

Nintendo showed a lot of really pleasant surprises (Metroid, Advance Wars, WarioWare, Super Monkey Ball). But Microsoft looks to be building a future.

At the very least, Nintendo will have a nice 2021 going forward, but it doesnt say much into 2022 and onwards.

Nintendo has more appealing for the casual audience, that is their strength. However, I wish they had shown more. What is up with Bayonetta 3? That game was announced over 3 years ago, and we have yet to see footage of it. I'm sorry, but should that game really take 4 or 5 years to develop? I'm starting to fear development hell for that game. What about Pokemon? Shouldn't we see some footage of that? At the very least a trailer?

I enjoy MVG's channel very much, but I also acknowledge that his being a developer for a Switch game -- the Shantae port -- may be influencing his opinion even if subconsciously.

I'd say MS. Slowly you see Sony's arrogance returning. It's also the first time I'm shifting more to MS in years.

Let's face it, this gen, MS is on the offense, Sony is on the defense. MS is growing and bringing gaming something new in terms of service and features, Sony is dragging its feet trying to ride their previous success as a reason not to pursue the competition's innovation.

Xbox is taking the biggest risk, while PS is playing it safe with Nintendo somewhere in the middle. The 23 or 26 studios stuff puts the Xbox future in the lead for “brightest,” but who knows what these games will actually be? That Arkane game ended up just being another L4D clone. If these big studios just end up releasing a bunch of mid, there’s gonna be some upset folks
