lolno. Almost no one thought NMS was going to be exclusive forever to the PS4. You're equating a few trolls/fanboys and inflating their numbers and influence. Many rightly pointed out that until another platform was announced it was exclusive. Even now that seems to be a difficult concept for you to grasp, because...

...Saying they have the "PC in mind" is Not a platform announcement. It's another good indicator of what is widely expected to be announced in the future, but until the say "we are bringing the game to PC/XB1/WiiU/whatever" you're still drawing conclusions.

I'm not sure what this game does differently than other survival/exploration games already found on the PC. It seems like the aesthetic, and the setting of the game are what's interesting people moreso than any sort of gameplay. Could be the total lack of games on PS4 that's driving up the hype for each individual exclusive, as few as there are.

But I do know those types of games tend to do really well on PC where there are actual communities as well as mods. I'd prefer waiting for that reason alone.

Especially not when his platform of choice is doing very poorly against PC.

Ps4 is just beta testing it until the real version comes out.

This early in a gen lifespam, working out kink for a building infrastructure require some level of involvement with more games.

What does this means for the gamer? More developer needs a platform, and platform who know what it's doing, need more developer.

What's does this mean for xbot? Windows 9.

@harry_james_pot: I'm just waiting for Damien's take on this. Either he'll accept it and stop calling it an exclusive only available on godny's console or get extremely jealous and start whining about how ps4 will still get it first and how that in itself is a system seller.

They made the right choice in delaying the PC version, it wouldnt be a great idea to release it too close to Elite D. I hope it gets announced for the XBONE too for the glorious Sony fankid tears. Suddenly the hype for this game will plummet and they will have to to go back to hyping Bloodborne.

Great to hear that they prioritize PS4 platform......hope they make it 6-12 months PS4 exclusive....and at least they didn't mention xbone version

Poor El Tormo. Expect a lot of damage control coming from these guys. They should be used to losing exclusive games by now anyways. Let's see MGS, FF, DMC, Ace Combat, Tekken, Kingdom Hearts, Katamari, Ridge Racer, Assassins Creed, Tales of Vesperia, etc...

Great news. Now I definitely can't wait for it's release. Too bad we have to wait so long.

The game was planned as a PC exclusive at the beginning, but that flood they had suffered threw their plans backwards. So they had to look for Sony´s help to mitigate the damages. Therefore, it became a timed Sony exclusive.

I think what he was talking about, were actual consoles. Not shit attempts at emulating PC fidelity like the PS3/Xbox 360 generation onwards. Real consoles are more like what Nintendo does, or anything prior to 7th gen. A good console game has 60 fps and responsive controls, like CoD for example (good console game, bad game).

It's got enough hype that it'll make money.

But it's still so far away from releasing. Anything could happen.

@Cloud_imperium: a lot of ppl like me consider exclusive in a different manner.

For example, if NMS was for PS4 and PC I would still call it exclusive. It still wouldn't be going to the X1.....and to most ppl that's what the fuss is about. PC is a whole different animal.

Lots of gamer would not experience NMS if they have an X1 and don't game on PC....which is actually a lot of ppl.

So if this game isn't a Console exclusive what is stopping the devs from porting it over to the Xbox One after say a year?
