Look at all the angry lemmings ITT. They can't even handle Nintendo. 🤣

$60 for
THISLooks like a game made by Toy's R Us 🤣
Looks like it's running on the Halo Infinite engine
I also feel like Nintendo won E3.
Between all the Nintendo first-party games announced and that life is strange collection as well as Danganronpa collection headed to the switch. I feel like this is going to be one of their best years especially from a JRPG standpoint. That's not even bringing up the fact that next year is going to be one of their best years ever as far as software. Nintendo is really on a roll this Generation.
@hardwenzen: i agree on the amounts of ports. I dont think there was even a new game barring from nintendo studios and atlus. Underwhelming show personally but it is still the best of the bunch. 5/10 from me.
"It was all ports except for the games that weren't ports."
Great insight 10/10
No way, the hard core cows claims Nintendo won since Sony was a no show! That’s a shocking development…
I'm really looking forward to "Metroid Dread."
The "Super Monkey Ball" collection makes me a bit nervous, though, as the first two games seemed so built-for-the-GameCube-joystick that later ports felt...off. I just don't know how the stick on the Joycon or Pro Controller will work with this.
Lol…Ninty showed a few ports, a few mobile games and some distantly planned Zelda game.
Xbox wiped the floor with their showing and it wasn’t even close.
@palasta: The original Chaos Gate was the best 40k game for years, until Dawn of War. I hope it's great.
Easy to say that Nintendo, the other company with actual real games won E3 after Zelda and Metroid.
See, this is what you have to do: show games people really want WITH GAMEPLAY unlike certain competitors that offer only services with no substance.
Another easy win for Nintendo and gamers. 😎
What gameplay did they show with BOTW sequel? It's coming in 2022 maybe and that's it. It was more of a tease. Metroid Dread I am left wondering if it will suck or not. I love the idea of a new 2D Metroid but with that dumb move of making you hide from those robots that you can't kill, that might just suck. Why would I want to be stressed out about dumb robots that don't make sense while I'm trying to play Metroid? The best game they showed which is actually coming soon is Guardians of the Galaxy but that's coming to all consoles in better form but not portable.
Also, they didn't show the new Switch which was pretty dumb but expected from Nintendo. They are so scared to lose sales.
Microsoft definitely won with Forza Horizon 5 which is the graphics king. Game Pass with everything coming day one was just incredible. Keep hating on them until you grow up a little and buy one.
Nah, they were both fine. Solid 8/10 for both.
Nintendo won for exclusives actually releasing this year though.
Wrong, almost everything Microsoft showed was included day 1 on Game Pass. Only a fanboy would minimize that. Have fun with your $70 games.

??? Techhog doesn't own a PS5, nor are they a Sony fan.

Honestly, System Wars as a whole hides behind the Switch or PC for whatever reason. I couldn't imagine cheerleading for a system I don't even care for, just to own another fanbase.
4. No real surprises except Metroid Dread. I was hoping for a Kid Icarus or something that would be completely unexpected (*cough* F-Zero or Starfox *cough*).
That surprise was a big deal.
@wonderwinner: Well, I can’t remember one worthwhile game from Nintendo…today.
And I thought Cows were in denial.
I just watched through Nintendo's presentation, and my wallet is already hurting. It really doesn't help that just about every game they showed will release in the next 12 months.
Metroid 5 (Dread) is a huge surprise. That title has been rumoured since...what, the Gamecube era? It looks like a solid entry in one of the all-time greatest 2D action series. I'm preordering it straight away.
Shin Megami Tensei 5 looks great. I like that they used the same stat screen design as Tokyo Mirage Sessions. Another really easy pre-order.
Mario + Rabbids 2 is a pretty easy purchase as well. The first game was surprisingly excellent - it was XCOM, but with excellent map design and puzzle-y combat.
Then there are a ton of remasters. Advance Wars 1+2 is definitely on my radar - those games were brilliant on the GBA, and it's nice to see a port of a game that is legitimately 20-ish years old.
Fatal Frame looks good. I never played the WiiU version, so I might check it out.
The Mario Party collection is also appealing. My partner would definitely play that, since she had the N64 games and has been disappointed with the more recent entries.
Oh, and then there are heaps of 2021 releases they didn't show/barely showed, like Mario Golf, No More Heroes 3, Monster Hunter Stories 2, Disgaea 6, The Great Ace Attorney, The World Ends With You 2, etc.etc.
I feel like I'm going to be buying games every few weeks for the rest of the year.
Lol just watched the presentation now and while it wasn’t bad, you don’t get to win E3 when your biggest announcement is a 2d game that was announced/talked about in 2004 and a vague 2022 release window for BOTW2…
I must be the only one who doesn't care for Nintendo 1st party.
I like metroid but thats about it
@sealionact: so am I a cow or a sheep? You've called me both. ðŸ¤
All in all, MS lost as usual. 🤣
@zerothehero: yeah, as much as I love gamepass, advance wars and metroid are both near the top of my list. I had metroid pre ordered back in 2019 before nintendo scrapped the game. They said remaster for AW so I'm expecting high level update that uses the switch hardware fully. I'll be pissed if Nintendo half asses it with a near straight port. I wouldn't be surprised though, this is nintendo were talking about
Metroid Dread is a huuuge win for me. It eclipses every other announcement at E3 by a huge margin. I love Metroid and Samus Returns was absolutely phenomenal.
I have no doubt this sequel will be stellar.

A Nintendo 2DS side-scroller will be niche at best no matter what name is on the cover.
Nintendo's conference was superb if you are a Nintendo fan. And as you can probably tell by my avatar, I am.
However, Nintendo's stuff is explicitly for Nintendo fans, I doubt a PC gamer finds much of a reason to care. Meanwhile, Microsoft's presentation was cool stuff for everyone, no matter who you are.
That was the best era of nintendo period, they got flak got censoring the original mortal kombat on super nintendo and labeled kiddie so their next console n64 they made a real attempt to appeal to more mature/older audiences and it resulted in a ton of great games also.

I don't know how you can say that. Do you get excited by rehashes? Haven't you had enough of them in the last 2-3 years? Cuz that's all that's coming as of late. They also didn't show nor even mention Bayo3 and nothing about a real Metroid game. You waited two years since Botw2 announcement, and they gave you what? A one minute teaser? If that's superb, then there's something wrong. Have Nintendo managed to lower your standards???
I don't own any Nintendo nostalgia glasses as I didn't grow up with them, I can understand how many people did. For me though, I mean Metroid looked ok, might pick that up, but "won E3?"
Gonna have to agree to disagree on that one.
There were plenty of surprises.
Super Monkey Ball, Metroid Dread, and Advance Wars. 3 Game series I thought were dead (2D Metroid that is). Up and coming at my doorstep.
Nintendo's conference had me smiling all the way through. Despite it's lack of megatons.
