"Nintendo Switch Lite has integrated controls and is smaller than the flagship version of Nintendo Switch. It has no kickstand and, as a dedicated handheld gaming device, does not support video output to a TV. Therefore, it does not come with a dock or HDMI cable. For a full list of the differences between Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite, visit https://www.nintendo.com/switch/compare.

The new device can play all games in the robust Nintendo Switch library that support handheld mode*, although some games will have restrictions. Compatible game modes will be listed on the back of game packaging and in Nintendo eShop."

It can't.

And Nintendo is now officially out of home console gaming.

a lil bummed about that I was ready to bite.

Never the less this thing will print money, I may end up caving. OG Switch was too much of a rip for me to buy into but it's library is holy.

I know this thing will fly off the shelves, but I just don't see a reason for it...
The Switch is already a hybrid and works perfectly fine as both a handheld and a console.

A Switch Pro would have been a lot more logical and worthwhile.

@Sgt_Crow: my bet is a Pro is still coming. Perhaps they'll wait another year and use it to replace, rather than add to, the base Switch. This would keep only two skus on the shelves - the mobile device and the mobile-console hybrid
