I've been collecting a bunch of games to play with my 6 years old daughter so i decided to share here part of my findings.

Nintendo consoles have all sorts of games but these are the games i call "Nintendo style" because they remind me of those games most people think you could find only on a Nintendo console because they are colorfull, simple and fun

On top there are a bunch of 3d platformers and below some very nice 4+ players coop games, later i will add 2d platformers and other varied style games

I get your gist, though it doesn't fit my personal definition. Have you checked out Ori and the Blind Forest?

yeah, i think Ori is the best platformer ever, but it will have to go to 2d platformers list

A few of those remind of games Sony used to have a lot of on their PlayStation platforms and don't seem to care about making anymore.

So you associate nintendo games with terrible games? I agree. You are absolutely right.

Nintendo is famous for making cheap and lazy games that are low budget. They really are lower quality experiences designed for simple minded people.

There is tons of free educational games online your kid can play. They are on par with what nintendo offers.

ok dont be so salty, lots of those on the list are also on PS4 and Xbox and most on the list are metacritic 8 or 9

If anyone was wondering. That Mickey Mouse game (Castle of Illusion) is no longer available to purchase.

in that situation if i get it on torrent it will still be "stealing"?

since i cannot give money to the developers, how can the developers lose money, or anybody lose anything if i decide to pirate it?

I was just about to buy that game a few days ago. Looked up the game, and it seems they just took it off two days ago.

I personally would consider that situation to no longer be "Piracy" since you can't even obtain a legal copy any more. It should be Abandonware at that point.

Companies will not see it like that so...

Probably learn more from them than Uncharted.

At least in Mario you have jump puzzles.... Uncharted is a mindless popping gallery and climbing simulator.
