Since the Xbox360 and Nintendo DS as the only platforms to have been out for any length of time, they are winning the war in terms of games.

Remember. This is in YOUR opinion, not based on any one publication. Who wins between the two?

0_o Are you serious? The two are incomparable. What if I stuck Mario Kart DS on the Xbox 360? People everywhere would lament its poor graphics. The games aren't interchangeable. Therefore, you simply can't compare a console and a handheld.

The DS and 360 both have really good releases coming up. I have to go with the DS though because of Ninja Gaiden, DQ9, Zelda, Contra 4, Front Mission, Its a wonderful world, FFXII, FFCC, FFA2, *takes deep breath*

I could go on for a LONG TIME about just how many really good games are coming out for it.

Handheld games are generally very inferior to console games IMO. They're ok, but just not the same as the heavy hitters on the consoles.

They are the only two platforms that have spent long enough on the market to acquire a decent enough games library.

Consoles > Handhelds

Always, no matter what the console ( since the N64/ps1 gen)

Way to different to compare. They both offer different experiences that just don't match up in any way.

For instance, while XBL has a superior online service compared to the DS's. The DS's online service isn't that bad at all considering what you get with it on the DS. Lots of great titles that play very well online for both systems and both have some killer app online games too.

The DS's games are a bit more shorter, and vary in length. The DS has some unique games that play on the strengths of the DS's design. Mic, Touch Screen, Dual Screens, Wi-Fi, etc. The 360 obviously has better graphics and more power to give you a bigger gaming immersion and better epic scene.

Overall, I love both the same for one reason. Gaming.

Here's one statement that makes the 360 better: It has bioshock.

Nintendo DS is the worst system out there its too childish and it sucks. PSP is way better, and so is the 360

I love both of my handhelds but I'm sorry, I'd go with my 360 any day. BioShock, Oblivion, Rainbow Six Vega, Gears of War, etc. The list just goes on. I get lost in Oblivion for far more hours than any DS game. And RSV/Gears multiplayer beats anything on DS utterly.

Of course all the sheep are just going to vote DS, but there is a reason I'm not a handheld gamer most of the time, watered down terrible games on handhelds can't compare to console companions, especially not on DS, sure there are plenty of good games when your not near a console, but why would I want to play even Mario Kart DS when I can play 2-4 player split with friends on my N64? Instead of staring at such a tiny screen.

Wow, I just don't know. On the one hand:

New Super Mario Bros , Jump Super and Ultimate Stars, Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, Mario Kart DS, Pokemon, Bleach DS

On the other hand:

Dead Rising, Gears of War, Bioshock, Chromehounds, The Darkness, Dynasty Warriors Gundam, Phantasy Star Universe

It's a tough choice for me because honestly these have been some of the top games of the past 2 or so years for me. I'm gonna go with 360 though because I have had less disappointments.

Definitely the DS. There's more variety of games on it than the 360.

Sure, graphics wise, consoles will always beat handhelds, but personally, I find handhelds to have their own charm which I greatly enjoy, thus I choose the DS, but both are great consoles which I enjoy a lot. But also, the 360 doesn't have Trauma Center, Phoenix Wright, and Advance Wars.

Those games are golden.

Although I save my handheld gaming for outside the house, I still prefer the DS.
