Yeah I read that Nintendo’s HQ was damaged. Hope everyone’s okay over there. I heard 5 are dead so far. Hopefully that number doesn’t increase.

Nintendo's HQ wasn't affected by the earthquake. What you read about was the typhoon yesterday that turned them into "intendo"

Japan got hit hard this week.

My thoughts are with those that lost family and loved ones.

Yeah. I like coming on here and blowing off some steam and talking shit about video games, but man. Some people are on another level with these consoles. Like, one step towards going over the edge. That's why I don't want to visit any video game events. I wouldn't feel 100 percent safe with all these kooks on the loose.

Meanwhile, even QuadKnight and NateDrakeSwag had the integrity to call out stuff238 for that terrible thread. Everyone else had their heads on straight though so it at least seems like most people here are sensible. If people want to fight over plastic boxes, go ahead, but we need to try to be human at the same time. People died!

On another note, I read that there are still 30 missing people. Hopefully they're found alive.

In order to think it's funny a company you don't like had to shut down for a day or two, you had to put blinders up over the root of the problem (people dying, people losing homes, property, etc). That's what you are inferring you are doing in all these posts of yours.

It shows a complete lack of sensitivity, morals, emotion, heart, sympathy, empathy, etc. that you should have been taught by your parents, teachers, friends, role models, and life experiences from the day you were born up until this point now.

This is the difference between you and the people calling you out.

Nintendo was forced to shut down due to potential deaths, due to those already reported. Hell, even potential injury is reason enough to shut down a company and prolong any media or even in-house briefings. You are one sick ****, bud. No two ways.

I'm glad that they cancelled the direct. There are so many more important things in life. Those people need to be around family and friends at times like that. That is what matters.

This is one of the final phases of being a troll before getting banned: saying everyone else is the troll.

Delayed, not cancelled. It's still happening no later than next Thursday, and likely closer to Tuesday. They still did the right thing though.

Delaying the direct made me curious if it was done out of respect, per se, or if the "program" was coming from NOJ rather than NOA?
