Looks very good, so far!

So Xbox 1 exclusive ?
At least they should add a "I'm Ben Solo,Solo,I'm Ben Solo,Solo ... " song for it.
@BassMan: agreed. What looks so good about it? Why is part of the teaser showing a person put on a VR headset? Do people mistakenly put the goggles on their feet?
@Vatusus: MS has said they would allow any project begun before the acquisition to finish. Hence we happy few was multiplat and published by Gearbox even though MS already bought the studio.
I read Ninja Theory was already working on a VR game.
Have no interest in vr ms get ninja theory to scrap the project. MS in desperate need for game exclusives.
Wait. I wonder if this is what MS is funding. If so, they're planning on doing VR after all?
Ninja Theory is not making this game, they're collaborating on it with ILMxLAB. Think of Crystal Dynamics involvement with Shadow of the Tomb Raider while Eidos Montreal was actually the one developing it. The studio also has about 150 employees under Microsoft now whereas during Hellblade's development it was around 15 employees. With that they have leeway to work on a multitude of projects, their work on Hellblade VR was excellent which makes it likely that ILMxLAB requested their help on this project.
oh ok
Yeah, Kinect Star Wars was amazing (to laugh at). I'm sure the VR one will be quality (shite) as well.
Kinect and VR are nothing alike. You can go out to a real life field and walk around a huge Star Wars scene in this experience.

Ninja Theory are heavily focusing on VR independently from Microsoft. This is their 4th VR title. Though one of them previously was for The Void location based VR.
That being said, Microsoft will still most likely have VR support on their next console.
Arent they a MS studio now? Why are they still making games as 3rd party?
Game Freak made a PS4/XBONE game, just saying.
I’m lost:
1. Isn’t Ninja Theory an MS property
2. Xbox doesn’t even have a VR
3. Doesn’t EA hold the rights to publish Star Wars games?
I think this is great this just goes against everything I’ve heard up to now.
I am shit-my-pants excited for this!
How does it look good? That teaser showed nothing.
Ninja Theory + Star Wars + Vader focus = Winning x 10^infinity.
...and teasers are generally exactly that; teases. They show nothing.
Geez guys, you don't think a great studio like Ninja Theory could make something compelling for VR?
Scratchin muh chin here.
LOL, great studio? What great games have they made? Soul was good at best.
Brilliant strategic move by Phil Spencer as usual. Now PSVR owner had no choice but buy a PC with Oculus Rift to experience this, as even the Xbone X cannot play VR.
This is a Quest title rather than a Rift title. Though it may be available on Rift as well, no one knows yet.

Why would they segregate this? its from the same company and Rift and Quest is just the same thing minus the wires. Business is weird sometimes

It helps them push the Oculus Quest platform which is the more mainstream appealing of the two.
I take it this won't be on PSVR.
Im not sure about the exclusivity deal they have but I cant see why it wouldn't at least work on PSVR if they are advertising it for their upcoming standalone headset; consider it GearVR with 6dof tracking and motion controllers as the games dont run from the beef of a PC they run from a built in mobile device. The headset and controllers are set to retail at $399 so it cant be anything special.
