"We are doing only Nintendo products now. We're super happy with our relationship with Nintendo. There's no reason to look anywhere else. They keep giving us better and better IP to work with, and as long as we do our job and make good games for them there's no reason for us to venture out." - Jason Carr, co-founder

Considering some of their games in their past history, I'm not so sure about how well this will go.

Never heard of this dev or knew they existed before this thread, so that goes to show the impact of this.

After googling, this is their catalog of work:

  • Super Mario Strikers – GCN (known as Mario Smash Football in PAL regions)
  • Mario Strikers Charged – Wii (known as Mario Strikers Charged Football in PAL regions)
  • Spider-Man: Friend or Foe – Wii, X360, PS2
  • Ticket to Ride – XBLA
  • Jungle Speed – WiiWare
  • Punch-Out!! – Wii
  • Doc Louis's Punch-Out!! – WiiWare
  • Transformers: Cybertron Adventures – Wii
  • Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon – Wii
  • Captain America: Super Soldier – X360, PS3 (with Sega)
  • Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon – 3DS[2] (known as Luigi's Mansion 2 outside North America.)

Nintendo does need more western devs under their belt so this is good news, I think.

They did a good job with Luigi's Mansion and Punch Out, so it seems like a pretty good dev to have on board.

They done an amazing job. LM2 walked away with a couple of GOTY, and was nominee in most sites. When they have worked on Nintendo only titles they done a really good job to the point of being almost a second retro. Punch Out, LM2 and Mario Strikers are all really good games.

Agree about LM2. But look at the rest of that list.

Most of the games are just bad/mediocre at best.

A lot of those games are based on movies are ports from other games. The only ones that they would have done themselves are Wiiware titles, Punch Out, LM2 and Mario Strikers. I had no idea they did Mario Strikers until this, that game is one of my favs on the Wii. I had so much fun playing that title.

That's not 2nd party, second party is under contract, it's just an exclusive third-party.
