Probably too early for them to be talking about this but either way, looks like the next Xbox platform is already in the planning stage;

They are always working on a newer system once the old one has been launched.

Console makers always do this so this really isn’t new or surprising. I’m sure Phil has already said before that have intended to make another console after this gen anyway.

Even before launch both Sony and MS will be working on their future platforms in some form.

Nah! The Xbox console sole purpose is establishing a base for development.

Bet you that even their next system won't have an SSD as fast as the one inside the ps5.

And by the time PCIE 5.0 NVME really becomes a thing, I can see PCIE 4.0 being use for PS6 as it will be cheaper by the time PS6 arrives.

@hardwenzen: Seriously though…6/10 on a site that rates a gaming headset on its ability to drown out aeroplane engines isn’t bad….while a real review calls it a “mic drop moment”.

@Pedro: Ram installed wrong, drowns his chip in thermal paste, uses a swiss army knife instead of a proper phillips head screwdriver, claims to have an anti static bracelet that clearly is not an anti static bracelet, calls zip ties "tweezers" for some odd reason, calls an IO shield a brace for some odd reason, calls anti vibration pads "insulation pads" and claims they prevent short circuiting (they do not), doesn't install anything on the MB before installing it into the chassis, Installs the PSU the wrong way killing air flow, throws the CPU socket cover away like it's garbage but if he ever needs to RMA the board he will be required to have it. Honestly a whole bunch more, for a how to video it's an absolute failure and nobody should ever follow that man's instructions.

I heard only of the thermal paste which has been proven to be a non issue despite people still making a huge deal about it. I wasn't aware that there was more than just the thermal paste.

@Pedro: The paste shouldn't cause issue with temps, but it's a waste and if it leaks out when the AIO gets pressed down it could become a major issue. He also installs the AIO without the fans on which is just making something that's pretty easy much harder as it sucks putting the fans on after the fact. The whole video is more of a "don't do this" than a "how to".

I will re-iterate that the thermal paste "issue" is a non-issue and should not even be a thing because well it is non issue. The other points made are actual issues.

@Pedro: Any conductive thermal paste that gets dripped out could potentially land on and short components. It's not a huge issue really unless the person applying dumps a ton on all over. But since conductive thermal pastes have become quite popular (like Thermal Grizzly) it could be an issue for people who decide to dump the whole tube out. I'll also reiterate that it's just wasteful to do so.
