**NEW Soul Calibur 6 trailers (Queen Ivy is back!!!)**

She has returned! As if we didn't expect her back lol, she's the most popular character in the game for obvious reasons.

Looks like the SJWs couldn't stop NamcoBandai and her outfit looks more or less like her SC1 outfit just a little bit more revealing and jiggly. It's good to see her back in her true form, I can't wait to see my other girl Taki. I'm loving the direction of this game!

Might be in the minority but I always thought Soul Calibur games weren't really good. Even the crown jewel Soul Calibur II was a slow-paced, sloppy game for me. There's also 0 "ouch" factor behind the weapons. They feel like Styrofoam sticks.

Granted, I already pre-order both PS4 & PC cause I play Fighting games for a living and Soul Calibur 6 was already a day one purchase. As for the trailer. Yes!!! Ivy is back in town and sexy as ever! Best fighting game 2018 right here. (Sorry DBFZ)

So glad this series is coming back. I was worried it would die after the mixed reaction V got.

I loved Soul Blade, Soul Caliber (Dreamcast) and Soul Caliber 2 (Xbox) but couldn't get into the later games, this one though looks like it might change that!

It's coming out this year for sure (no release date announced other than 2018), and it will release on the same day for PC and consoles.

SCV was bad and it looks like they learned from the mistakes they made with it. Going back to the past was the best thing they could have done for the series. I haven't seen SC fans this excited in ages.

Yay! This was like one of the few fighting games I could really get into. It was less combo's and more fun :D

I think the game is starting to look pretty good.

Question: Does this series play much different from Tekken?

Resetera is full on triggered.. They hate the design of any women that isnt in a burka

@uninspiredcup: It has some similarities with Tekken but at its core it plays quite differently. The combat is more fluid than Tekken and less stiff thanks to the 8way run system. There’s also less emphasis on combos in this game compared to Tekken. If you’re good at Tekken you’ll probably do well in this game but it will take a little bit of time to adjust to the more fluid combat and movement of your character.

Looking pretty awesome. I’ve always enjoyed the Soul Calibur games and am definitely hyped for this one.

Yes. I'll give my reasons but with the caveat that I am not in any way an expert at either game. Love both though.

• Playing defensively is more effective in Soul Calibur, especially once you get the timing of the parry down.
• Combos are shorter. In Tekken you can wait for an opening, then take out your opponent with a long ass juggle combo. This strategy doesn't work so well in Soul Calibur. This is not to say there isn't depth, in fact I think this forces you to react to your opponent more in SC instead of just trying to trap them. Kind of ties into my first point of playing defensively.
• Weapon reach is a big factor. You have to change your strategy depending which character you are up against. Fighting a huge beast with a giant axe is very different from taking on a small ninja with daggers.

That's my take anyway. A higher level player may give better answers.

Ivy sure looks good. Don't care about what's-his-face.

Is it a wonder why Soul Caliber tries harder to be sexy than Tekken? Why? They're not as bad as Dead or Alive or Senran Kagura but still....why?

Ivy is hot, but you would assume she would have a bit more muscle in her ass and thighs. She is a little flat back there.

They tried to tone down the skimpiness in SCV for her and all the females, and that game flopped hard so I'm not surprised sexiness and skimpy outfits are back in now.

Part of Ivy's charm is her sexiness and badass attitude. You can't have a covered Ivy, it's just not the same.

I think it's the same with other females like Taki too. They got rid of Taki and replaced her with Natsu, a more covered up and less gifted in the chest apprentice in SCV, and that created a huge uproar.

SC fans like their sexy females just like DOA & SK fans do. I'm excited to see create a character mode return and I look forward to being able to dress up my characters and the main characters in wild outfits and crazy hairstyles.

Me too, she has some awesome moves and she looks good too.
