New PS Vita Model Comparison with Old PS Vita.

I beleve that the new PSVita LCD looks better.

I guess the OLED burn-in was enough of a problem for them to switch displays...an issue that they would have wanted to fix.

The blacks are darker in the LCD in the UC comparison, the reds are brighter, the wood is more naturally colored and doesn't have a greenish hue.

Need more accurate comparisons to make a final judgement

you would think that because you might be able to afford the new model, but could not afford the original  vita.

And what are you watching this picture on ? An LCD or and OLED screen ?

What stupid comparisons these are, TC included. How can you see the OLED screen is better when watching the comparisons on an LCD screen...

Because you can see the difference in the colours in that picture. Not sure why that is so difficult to grasp.

There something wrong with the photo....even and the new PSVita looks washed out.....not only the PSVita LCD screen.

Because you can see the difference in the colours in that picture. Not sure why that is so difficult to grasp.

You need to see it with your own eyes to truly see the differences. Ok, you can spot some in that picture, but that could be just the brightness settings as well.

Comparing an OLED screen and an LCD screen watching them both on an LCD screen doesn't get us anywhere...

New PSVita.  Old PSVita.  Vita TV.  Honestly who cares.  Vita is dead in the water if not already.  3ds kicking its butt left and right.  Sony should just kill this system.  Give it some dignity.

This isn't the first time I'm seeing this either. I saw this video review on youtube of a couple of speakers once, and some people were complaining in the comments how they sounded bad... listening to them on their own crappy speakers.

I would respect the Vita even more if it just disappeared and went away.  The Vita tried but it failed.  No need for Sony to trot this garbage out any longer.  Just let it rest already.  These days its just embarassing.

New Vita looks a bit bigger than the regular Vita. Not a good spin, they should've reduced the size of it.

lol i am completely confident in my small 3ds..believe me....i dont see why people like the xl more.

as for the poorer quality vita screens...ill wait for multiple hands on reviews first before passing judgement.

Ok so stupid question, but why does the new Vita only have one door on the top? Have they combined the card slot and the accessory slot into one, or have they removed one of them?

I can. With the newer model the picture has more of a yellowish tint to it and the picture quality isn't as clear or crisp. I'm glad I bought the original PSVita when it went on sale. Now Sony will be selling this newer model that obviously cost less to make for $200.
