New IGI game is being made by Rising storm 2 developers

IGI: Origins is said to be bringing back the stealth, tactical gameplay of the original with a focus on gadgets. This time around, the narrative will play a larger role, as you unravel the story of an MI6 agent on a quest for redemption. You’ll be able to create your character and even discover more about the origins and the characters of the first game.

while i was not interested but seeing rising storm developers are working. and i wish rising storm gameplay would be in single player. now im interested.

I never liked IGI but i remember it was very popular game for its time.

but its stealth game, plus tactical too.

All I remember from this game was climbing up a mountain for 15 minutes.

@with_teeth26: I'm just glad to see Antimatter games doing well. They are making both a singleplayer as well as a multiplayer game. I'm very happy with that.

Alright. Anything the Rising Storm devs do interests me and this looks like yet another 'slightly different than your average type' FPS.

Project IGI was an awesome game, I am excited for this.

It actually wasn't that awesome, but it was pretty fun. What it did well was military espionage on a large level scale.

Project IGI and the Delta Force/Black Hawk Down games by Novalogic are probably some of the more understated mil-shooters of my youth that formed my opinion on what a proper, military-themed action game should be.

I'm Going In. I remember that game. Impossible game.

They did a good job with Rising Storm 1/2, so I'll keep an eye on it. Rising Storm 2 is one of the best tactical MP shooters out right now in my opinion.
