I know, which is why I made my reply. Duke Nukem cannot be a 3rd person game its supposedly fast paced, no 2-3 weapon limit and flexibility, A 3rd person shooter with a cover system doesn't exactly cover it now does it?

I know DNF will have mediocre visuals, dated gameplay and stupid one liners. But i honestly don't care. I would rather get raped by Satan, then not buy this game, play it, and put it in my collection.

Those lines work perfectly, and i don't give a flying donkey's **** about bringing something new to this overraturated FPS market of Military generic gray shooters that try to take themselfs seriously and fail laughably.

To be honest: It's better than any of the games CoD and Halo churns out. :/

You know... so many people have been waiting for this game for YEARS. Imagine if it comes out and sucks.

From what i've seen it looks more fun and a blatant satire take at how cruddy and oversaturated the FPS market is.

Well, i take this non serious game over the boring serious style of KZ3, Crysis 2 and all those games, my personal GOTY from last year was everything but serious, so let's see how this turns, besides, you just got to love one liners, they are so cheesy it's impossible to hate.

People want a sequel to Duke Nukem 3d not the side scrollers, changing the game too much would hurt it more than help it.

The gameplay looks fun, just what you'll expect from a Duke Nukem game. The visuals seemed really outdated, but the trailer was console footage while the official screenshots look much better and they were from the PC version apparently, so that may not be a problem for me.

I know plenty of girls who appreciate the humor of the Duke Nukem series. Why so serious?

I have a feeling this game will get slamed in reviews. Mainly cause of the one liners and the humore. Iv seem some previews with people saying these lines dont work anymore and times have change. Which boggels my mind. If you know duke you wouldint want him being serious and not making crude jokes. It wouldint make sense. I already know im getting this game it looks fun and I always enjoyed the duke.

I don't think anyone would care, I honestly think this game could get a 1/10 from every major review website and it would still sell millions just because it is Duke Nukem :P

Yet most shooters this gen don't.

This is a nice break from all those other kinds of shooters and it actually has a lengthy single player, it's around 16 hours says the devs.

Let me enlighten you a bit, since you obviously know nothing about the situation.

We know this game won't score high. We know it has crappy visuals, outdated mechanics and crude one liners. We know it'll either score 6.0, or 7.5, or 8 at most.

But we don't give a ****. This is the only game were scores isn't going to matter, because we already know the outcome.

Nothing's gonna ensue on SW, except the obvious fact --> It will outsell your favorite game, even if it scores 1 out of 10.
