I can't wait for this game, but I'm gonna hafta lol.  I love moody survival horror titles, it's my favorite genre (making the Silent Hill series my fav series).  This game oozes potential and pretty graphics.

I dont know I cant but think of Getaway I remember first seeing pics of that and thought it was going to be one amazing game for the PS2 instead well u know the rest.

Apparently these are the first pics from the 360 version. Not as clear as the older pics, but their resolution is weird too (700 x 260 or something like that)

i'm pretty sure it's one of those back woods areas where there are few ppl. the type of place that many thrillers are filmed at.

It might be a case of bad screenshot quality, but the first pic looks awful. Especially the tree behind the Gasoline sign and the road textures.

That term really needs to stop being used around here. Sooner rather than later. :| You dont press a downgrade button and have your game magically appear less detailed. Unless you're implying that they scrapped all of the models and environments they'd made up to now and re-did them all with less detail?

no, it goes gradually,yes, with a couple of buttons... but check ou the walkthrough demo on pC.. seriously. i was blown away and thinking it could not be done on 360. now i think: yhis has allready been surpassed on 360....

Well, thats assuming they were actually real to begin with and not pre-rendered.

the demo was supposed to be at least realtime Inengine. Though that doesn't mean gameplay, it's not pre rendered.

also I'd like to add, to the haters, as a reference, look at the text in the bottom left corner of the 1st pic. you see how blurry and near-unreadable the text is? that should give u an idea of the picture resolution quality. most these baseless complaints are due to that

You are denying its possible? If we get some better quality images and they are improved, then so be it..but don't try to deny the possibility that the trailer was pre-rendered..and in any case it wasn't real-time gameplay.

Oh god, this was one of my most anticipated games for the 360...but look at that road...look at those trees...look at that truck on the right of the bottom pic...its like 2002 all over again...ugh....

On the upside, this game is TBA 2008 :D I still have faith.

It doesn't, it just doesn't.  Leads me to believe those trailers were just that...trailers.  Looks to me like we have some filler models, filler textures, and physics-less clothing on our man Alan there.  Ah well, like I said, TBA 2008 still leaves me with faith.

The picture with the sunset...look at the rock he's standing on.  Almost no textures and a visible seam with a sharp cut off between pixel-areas.  The game is in EXTREMELY early stages for the 360.  Makes me feel better.

I'm concerned with how this game will actually play. The graphics look OK. TBA 2008 seems so far away for a game that's been hyped for so long.

It's supposed to be empty. It's played in a rural mountain getaway. You normally are getting away from the hustle and bustle of an urban environment to a more peaceful one and quiet one.
