So I'm gonna list some good points and bad points of every next-gen console, and if you disagree with some of the points then please don't flame me and give me a civilised answer back.
Xbox360
pro:
- It's been out for more then a year so there are lots of games allready available for it
- Lots of great games are coming on it.
- Very good live support
- Nice achievement system.
Contra:
- It makes a lot of noise.
- Lots of peope complain about malfunctions within the console.
PS3
Pro:
- Slightly more powerfull
- The console is not out for very long, so you can expect a lot more from it.
Contra:
- Expensive
- Not many good game on the shelves at the moment.
Wii
Pro:
- Different type of games, more appealing to casual gamers (could be contra too depends on your vision on this)
- New control system that everyone definitly wants to try.
- Games based solely on gameplay.
Contra:
- Lesser graphics
- Seems like the controller is a lethal weapon if used wrong.
Conclusion:
It all depends on what you like best. Since a lot of information is based on the opinions of fanboys, maybe seeing this might make up your mind. Also don't judge the PS3 on it's bad start. Every console has it's good points and every console has it's flaws. Then again, concurrention between the consoles is a great thing for the gaming industry. That means if Microsoft does well, the Sony has to do well, and as Sony does well, Microsoft has to do well to keep up the competition. So it doesn't matter what console you pick as there will allways be something that you like. And there will allways be a lot of games you want to play on another console.
