You go ahead and keep telling yourself that a platform having a wide range of genres to fit the gaming desires of any and all niche audiences, on top of all the mainstream stuff, is a bad thing.
Thanks for the heads up TC. Badosh
I take it your sig is a representation of how you react when browsing SW, am I right?
I think it's cool.
I would buy it if it was American trucking, 357 Pete, US roads, etc.
Not a big fan of Europe.

Well, there is quite a bit more diversity to the scenery here in the US.....:P I've been all over Europe and while the countryside is incredibly beautiful, it's pretty much all green hills and mountains. Here in the US we have that along with deserts, canyons, The Rocky Mountains (5x more impressive than the Alps) and even more impressive mountains and tundra in Alaska. Also don't forget tropical Hawaii. And then if you add in Canada, it's pretty much no contest.[QUOTE="V3rciS"][QUOTE="ZombieKiller7"]

Agreed. Also I forgot to mention the boring sceneries we have in the US, like the wheatfields in Oklahoma.
can you imagine living somewhere with NO trees? I drove through the state once, and it was an entire day of nothing but this.
[QUOTE="ZombieKiller7"]Meanwhile the game your icon is from is made by a European company. Ubisoft Montreal/Shanghai made Splinter Cell games, with the studios located in Canada and China, not Europe.I think it's cool.

Those are in-game?
That Golden Gate shot... awesome!
I put the link in there before someone says I'm pulling their leg.
The only reason I haven't bought the game yet is because I'm hoping someone might make a weather add-on. Customizing weather (for accuracy) is very important to me.

Actually, the screenshots are from Aerofly Pro, not Aerofly FS. Aerofly Pro is a simulation of RC models. Aerofly FS is the full-blown flight sim. My bad.
Another one of Aerofly Pro:

They sure love them job-simulator games. No wonder those grinding second job games like MMORPG thrive in PC gaming.
People log more hours in CoD than WoW per player in XBL. CoD competative play has a lower skill cap than WoW.They sure love them job-simulator games. No wonder those grinding second job games like MMORPG thrive in PC gaming.

Looks better than most games on 360.. Heil68It's just in a higher resolution. If you hooked a 360 to a PC monitor and up the resolution it was look exactly the same on the XBox 360. Only reason 360/PS3 games don't look as good as most PC games is because most of the games are at a lower 720P resolution. Hopefully Sony/Microsoft will fix this little probably by allow the XBox 720 and PS4 to connection to monitors that do higher then 1080P resolution. If they do thatPS3 and XBox 720 games will look just as good as their PC counterparts. The resolution of the HDTV is really the only thing holding them back.

Thats part of it, but you forgot about the worse textures, less effects, terrible AA, draw distance, and framerate.

On the current gen systems maybe, but on the next gen system, that won't be a problem. Xbox 360 & PS3 are 6yr old technology, so of course the texture, effects and framerate aren't going to be up to par with current PC. This is why it's silly trying to compare current PC games with stagnant console games.[QUOTE="the_bi99man"][QUOTE="blackace"]Only reason 360/PS3 games don't look as good as most PC games is because most of the games are at a lower 720P resolution. blackace

But there is no reason to think that the gap won't come right back a year after the new consoles launch, if it even significantly closes. That's how it always happens.

I think what he was getting at, is that even if you only count the one system (xbox), people log more hours per player into COD than WOW.
