It seems as though the Cows are so beaten and bruised by the constant failure of Sony that they won't hype Motorstrom AAA. Well, it's too late, the Cows have hyped this game to no end (only MGS4 has more threads) and now we get all this "I never said AAA" crap in an attempt to divert more ownage? I don't think so, Cows. Motrstorm is OFFICIALLY HYPED AAA based on all the threads about the game we've all had to endure ever since it's announcement. Did we forget that for about a solid 6 months on SW the standard Cow response to anything was posting a pic of either Motorstorm or MGS4 as "pwnage"? I didn't forget.
While it technically is hyped AA, the amount of crap everyone had to put up with before PS3 was released about Motostorm was so ridiculous, that even if it does score AA, I'll be happy.

I didn't forget. actually most of these threads you mention only speak of motorstorms great graphics, physics, or potentially sweet online capabilities. however, none of these things guarantee AAA status, especially in an environment as volatile as that of Gamespot. Most Cows recognize this, and the official hype (AA) shows accordingly.

You do realise that thread was posted in December? That was before any reviews came out at all.
So what's your point? The game isn't out yet. It's not like it flopped or anything. You fanboys do anything to bash each other's systems. Who cares what people think it's gonna be, AA or AAA.

Sonic was never hyped high, I only saw two thread saying it would be AAA. Almost everyone hyped it to be a AA game at best, and most people were doubtful of even that, due to the terrible quality of recent Sonic games. All the other games were flops.
Hey, if it gets AAA I'll be the first one to congradulate the Cows. I plan on buying a PS3 and would love a AAA game for the system. But just because the Cows voted it AA because they can't stand to take any more ownage doesn't change the fact that they talked-up this title to death ever since it was announced.

It's not low expectations, it's knowing the reviewers bias/tendencies. I refuse to hype it. But I'm saying it will probably get anywhere between a 7.0 and an 8.9. from GS. GS just tends to rate PS3 games lower than other sites. I stopped hyping games ever since GS gave Resistance an 8.6. I'm not using the "GS is bias" excuse, but I am saying that they have almost consistently rated PS3 games .5 to a whole point lower than competing game sites/mags.
Mainly this is true with the hyped games. But yeah, this thread is bogus, and a piss-poor attempt of a fanboy so he can "OMG LIEK KLAME PWNAGE LOLZ LOLZ TCHBO OMG!". So sad. Just because GS is going to give it a 7.0 doesn't mean I don't think the game is going to rock. I think the demo deserves a 9.0 at the least (for a demo). It's really REALLY fun, fast (when using boost), and dirty. It's great. But I just know GS's tendencies.
OOOOKKKKKK, i want the game to be an AAA and it looks to me that its good enough to be an AAA so im gonna say that it might be an AAA If the developers screw up some where why is it my fault that i wanted it to be an AAA?

...it was hyped AA, I think it'll get high AA on GS and AAA on IGN. The (apparently poor) single player will probably stop it attaining AAA status here.
