Most overpriced gaming accessories or peripherals in gaming history ?

360 HDDs were over $100 for 150GB, 360 WiFi adapter was $100, 360 HDDVD add-on was $200, 360 Xlive $60, 360 controller charge packs $13. VS PS3 free PSN, PS3 WiFi built in $0, Bluray built in $0, PS3 controllers rechargable battery pack built in $0, and PS3 any brand HDD for $50-60 for 500GB.

The Wii U looks like a Wii with a tablet controller and not quite as good of graphics as the PS3 & 360 for $350. Why would someone choose that over a $250 PS3?!

Now don't get me wrong, this suka was wicked sick but @ 200 bucks and only used for one game :o

If only SB:HA nixed the Kinect functionality and instead went with this controller. :D

Anyhoo, some have said Wii U and for now, I'll just go with that. :P

It's a shame really, there's some fantastic Saitek ones out there that I've been eyeing (using a Thurstmaster at the moment, but it's not quite there - not enough buttons and heft) - and those seem to be the go-to srs bsnss ones, but in terms of mech controller Razer had that Hawken prototype one which looks cool and super excessive and I think there was another too.

Either way I'd love one with two Joysticks both with full axis controls, so you have proper 6DOF. To me, for anything space related it's so essential to have that verticle and strafe control, especially in games with newtonian physics. Shame the SB controller doesn't have that with its steering stick - only left and right, however the right aiming stick is nifty in that it doesn't centre - it stays fixed in its placement, which is fantastic for aiming.

Either way we will have to see, if more space games pick up and mech games kick off it might be cool.

I can agree with the WLAN Adapter, but I think the Kinect is fairly priced.

psn is the most overpriced service based on what you get.
