More Xillia trailers

Overall I've been viewing the game cautiously (especially since it looks so strange in comparsion with the other HD Tales game this gen), but the following trailers don't look half bad.

Gameplaywise, the battle system looks like a tales game. I'm not too familar with the series, but from what I understand it uses the same type of battle system as Graces, coming out for the PS3 next year (yes, the next Tales game will be released in Japan before we even get a port of a Wii one). There also appears to be an element in which you interact with your environment, although to a minor degree. Probably something FFXIII could have used to better mask it's linearity (although it did have lots of jumping).

The story seems like it's trying. The cutscenes appear to be more cinematic than what I've seen of previous Tales games, especially towards the end of the 2nd trailer.

I might have passed this up in the past, but hey - given the current JRPG library, ...why not Tales of Xillia?

I might actually be excited for this if it weren't for Bamco's atrocious handling of the tales series completely killing any interest I used to have for the series.

Well if Graces sells well, they will probably bring it over. they have been releaseing most of the main titles. They sometimes take a while, but get here eventually.

And this game looks quite pretty. And something about the lead male being a medical student seems interesing for a Tales game. Guess cause it's unusual.

Looks cool, still have to finish Vesperia up. Looking forward to Graces too.

I believe it would have to do with missing some of the JRPGs when JRPGs were at the top of the pack. If you have a PS1 I would suggest Xenogears, FFVII/VIII/IX, Legend of Dragoons, Suikoden and Wild Arms. For the PS2, maybe Kingdom HeartsI/II, .hack and XenosagaI/III (I would suggest II but that game was meh).

Yeah, playstation was the JPRG king, and I just got into the PS brand this gen (always played Nintendo :P). I have a PS3 and a PS2, so I can play any PS game. I have thought about trying out some of those games. I also plan on picking up Chrono Trigger for the DS. I guess I just never really noticed these games when I was younger, I dont know :P. Yeah Baten Kaitos was one of the reasons I kept a GameCube through the gen next to RE4 and SSBM. Without those three games I would have traded it in for an Xbox probably.

So far it's looking like Tales of Xillia might be better than Tales of the Abyss. I can't wait! They better localize it.

2 is better IMO. 1 has some great things about it, but some of the refinements made in 2 really helped out. Love them both though personally. And BK is made my Monolith and Tr-Crescendo I believe.

People crap on it alot I guess, but I thought it was adequate. It isnt going to blow you away or be extremely memorable by any stretch, but I didn't find it bad and most of the time I just felt it was your average good VA. Some parts are better than others though :P.

Yeah the story in Origins was better (obviously connected, as its a prequel) than the original.

That's how I feel about BK, sort of. When BK came out I was younger and the general impression I got from it was that it didn't look too great.

I find it hard to sit down and play games these days. I think I always just feel like I should be doing something else, ... even when I just end up wasting my time otherwise.

Is the battle system any different in BK2? I bought the first game and absolutely hated the battles in that game. So unfortunately I barely gave the game a chance. Maybe I can pick up 2 sometime.

You people should stop making Qoga look bad its not mediocre at all well its not the greatest JRPG ever as what Final call it but its difnitely a good/Average JRPG well at least from what i've seen from (My brother currently playing it) it got a good story and seems fun.
