Oh fov. Gow was actually nauseating when i first played it but i got used to it after an hour or 2.

I agree, it was pretty bad.

A limited FOV isn't automatically bad.

Uhm so can't this be fixed by including a FOV slider?

FPS in general all have FOV sliders, and if there is a game that doesn't have one, than it's simply not worth buying.

trouble comes in when you want locked fps, increasing FOV also increases the performance requirements

Not by much though, I've seen several console games where they also include an FOV slider, whereas before console FPS had always been locked at something like 55 FOV.

Hell, they can't hold locked FPS on PC either. Unless we are talking about some really old source games.

Western devs don't understand why it worked for RE4. They just put the zoomed over the shoulder camera in nearly everything.
