Minecraft 360 beating halo 4 in live activity

Halo 4 has dropped to 3rd in the weekly xbox live activity during the week of december 31.Cod BO 2 is still number one while minecraft 360 is number 2.This does not mean that halo 4 is doomed or is crap compared to the other two games.

good because Halo 4 is the worst Halo MP to date.

Well, remember too that Halo 4 was 343's first real solo game.

I'm sure we are in for a bigger Halo experience on their sophmore effort.

My oldest son plays Minecraft everyday, and I've only heard young children in these online matches. So it just means that young children are loving the game...superclocked

I just don't have the patience to build something, I would start on some super ambitious construction, only to quit 20 minutes later cause I got bored.

Well Minecraft, BLOPS2, and Halo are all huge franchises. The FPS community is split between BLOPS2 and Halo 4 whereas Minecraft attracts that audience as well as others whom aren't necessarily interested in FPS.

I played the Demo for Minecraft 360 version.

iPod version is 10x better.

Maybe this will teach 343 to stop appealing to the COD crowd.

I wish they would remove the ordinance drops in some of the most played modes or make it so people don't get ridiculously powerful weapons that are not present on the maps.

I think everyone on here should stop hyping games. Before Halo 4 launched, almost everyone here said it was going to be amazing, great, the best thing ever, etc.

Post-launch....."Oh it's not great. Hope this shows 343!". Only like 5% of the games hyped ever stay positively viewed on here.

I just started playing Halo 4 online recently and it's fun. A bit easy though. I think my K/D is like a 2.6 - 3.0 on it.

my son is playing halo 4 and minecraft, he is absolutely loving minecraft though, i have watched him play and i just dont get the attraction. i played through the 8 bit era and dont feel the need to go back.sts106mat

Minecraft is simply a bigger phenomon. It doesn't mean Halo 4 is crap in the least bit, especially if its at #3. Most other games would kill to get that high.

I was obssesed with Minecraft wen it was in Alpha, there's nothing like being thrown into a world in which you need to build yourself a shelter fast, otherwise horrible monsters will come and kill you wen it's night.

Minecraft sold 450,000 copies on XBL on Christmas day alone! I thought it would overtake both Halo and CoD, so I'm surprised to see it only overtook Halo.

I haven't had the chance to play Halo 4 since Christmas day actually :( That game is so good! My friend (who I play Halo with) told me I could have his old Xbox, and a copy of Halo 4 as a gift, and I turned it down because the gift was just too nice, but I've been wanting to play more Halo 4 so I kinda regret it :P

They held back too many maps to keep the interest up. I got bored about a month ago.Zeviander

But I agree I find myself playing the same maps a bit too often.
