Microsoft's current policies for the X1 destory any local multiplayer gaming

If we can only use 1 account per game, say goodbye to gaming with the family or having friends over for some fun.

Did they not think of this? This KILLS any chance for friends to come over and play at your house. Nobody wants to use a guest account either. I'd rather grab a drink and just watch my buddy play then use a guest account.

They could just use guest account, but to hell with that, I want to actually rank up and unlock achievements(The point of the xbox console brand was to build your profile.)

They will probably be able to sign in as a guest for free with no fee? If other players want to use there Gamer Profile there will be a fee, so MS screwed this one also anyways.

Speculation much? I assume it will work just like XBLA games work. You can purchase/activate the games on one account then play them on any account that is on the Xbox.

This is not going to happen. Come on, this policy is shit and guarentees I will never own an X1 but its not gonna charge you for local mp on the disk. Be realistic.

As long as the person who owns the game is signed in, then anyone else can play it locally.

I'm sure other accounts will be able to play the game, so long as the account that owns it is logged in.

They have until launch to change any policy if the backlash is too severe. It's unlikely, but it's worth noting.

If the Corporate Suits maintain this anti consumer course for X1, I'll miss the Xbox and 360 visionaries who left the company some time ago all the more. :cry:

You can play local multiplayer, you need XBL membership first.

Don't hold me on this but I don't think the PS3 lets you all sign into your own account's. Atleast we've never been able to and so I find this complaint kind of silly.
