Microsoft's cross-play announcement

Don't know if this is a good or bad thing for them but what are your thoughts? Can this move put an end to deciding on what system to buy?

The comment was referent to the news article from Complex. I did see that Sony responded, after posting that comment. :p

You can only do it in certain games, otherwise PC users will slaughter console players with kb/m .

Agreed, in games like that though they should have an option where you can limit the network to consoles only if you can't handle PC players destroying you.

I've been using a gamepad in Battlefield on PC and it really isn't that bad. Certainly you're at a disadvantage but let's face it - console players are also outclassed because they are used to running around like idiots in a CoD type shooter using aim assist to run and snap to targets to get quick kills. That obviously doesn't work on PC.

Sure you can use it, but go against a PC player with m/kb and they would win every time.
