No specific details on pricing but according to the people at Windows Central it would allow 5 people in the same country to access Gamepass but be significantly cheaper than 5 individual subscriptions (Brad Sams put out the price of $29.99 per month which would equal $6 per person)

yeah... but if is not restricted to the same network 5 friends at $6 per month each is a great deal. Assuming it is the ultimate version of GP which includes XBLive then you would be paying just a little bit more per person that your existing Xbox Live subscription

It is great IF you have 5 people but if your family is smaller than 5, it is over budget. I would prefer some more scalability from 2-5.

@Pedro: Yeah, definitely a solid plan if you got a full five people using but scalability would certainly make it better.

Everyone knows those basement dwelling Lemmings don't have families. They only have each other.

This "family plan" will be 50 bucks a month by 2024. Heed my words. Time to fill in the acquisition holes 😆

@Pedro: Exactly. 😅

He also said $50 a year. Sounds like a steal to me. 🤔

Excuse me, a month. 50 bucks a year buys you a fourth of an Elite controller 🤣

Go online. Someone in a Nintendo FB group made a post looking for people to join her Nintendo family plan and she added me to her plan years ago. I just PayPal her $3 a year when she hits me up on messenger. Been doing this since like 2019.

That literally doesn't change anything from what I have stated.

You said not everyone in the family may be interested in paying towards a subscription so I gave an alternative solution.

@BenjaminBanklin: It would still be worth it. 😅

Pointless comment about Elite controller is pointless. 😐

I spent more than this (50 usd/month) average on gaming last year, and even more the previous year. Just a datum for everyone in the discussion.

It's a great option and I'd look into it. Find friends or family members who are willing to pay up. It's too bad most of my friends are ps Homer's. Real shame.
