Going to be an absolute killer E3 this year for Microsoft. Two hours of magnificent gaming goodness. Only a week and two days away now. So very hyped, can’t wait.

With Microsoft announcing games doesn’t matter because they cancel most of em. That being said I hope they have some good games actually being released soon.

I say, if a franchise is well and truly dead, such as Halo, Gears and Forza are, you let them depart with honor. Move on. Do something new for a change.

I know that Battletoads and a new Timesplitters have been hinted at. Those would probably be my biggest two that I want to see or hear that I have heard MIGHT happen.

Funny about a year ago they were laughing about Microsoft's E3 floor space then that exploded in their face when they rented a whole theater. Now 14 new games and Sony ain't even showing up to E3!

Games in your hands are what counts. How many games has MS shown this gen that didn't even make it to consumers hands? RIP Fable Legends, Scalebound and Phantom Dust remake. Besides, a lot of these games are stuff you already know is coming, and should be expected. MS needs E3 because marketing shit is the easy part for them. Delivering... not so much.

Yet none of the games you listed are in your hands and only one has a release date. Stop being rabid because Sony jumped E3 ship because they have nothing to show and Xbox fannies still have something to look forward to, whatever it maybe.

All these games I mentioned will ship, period. Yeah, there's stuff to look forward to at E3 for MS customers, but it's going to be the usual triad of their tentpole exclusives and some other low end games. Unless Xbox fans are going to pretend to be excited about side-scrollers and isometric PC games now. Besides, we know most of those games will tank anyway because the Xbox fanbase's buying power doesn't amount to crap these days.

That's cool and all, but didn't they say this last year? They ended up showing the usual trio (2 gears games actually), and then stuff like content for sea of thieves.

Oh well, I hope they show something like scalebound. Doubting it, but still.

There will be plenty of unknown titles, whereas Sony has stretched the amount of time promoting ALL those games you mentioned to beyond a joke. That's why Sony didnt do an e3...they have nothing that hasn't been seen in previous e3's, and in cases numerous e3's and still dont have a release date in sight.

This still has nothing to do with the question about Sony being known for releasing rendered videos and calling it gameplay. For all your raging at ms for showing pre alpha gameplay, it was at least gameplay. The final game was indeed vastly inferior as far as destruction goes, because the immense amount of rubble laying around affected gameplay.

They don't have to promote those games on an E3 stage anymore, we know they've coming within the next two years. Those titles will be shown off when they're ready. MS is going to parade all these games that MAY (or may not) come, that a lot of people aren't going to buy anyway knowing they can just play them on a $2 Game Pass deal. MS dudes don't even like games, they just like hype. This show isn't going to move the needle for MS, it is what it is.

And why are you talking about the gameplay footage in this thread? Killzone 2 didn't run on the same engine, but the game was the same. Crackdown 3 didn't turn out ANYthing like they promoted. You got shown a different game at Gamescom, and you ate it up. You guys are getting hyped for a bunch of game rentals.

@XVision84: They said the same thing last E3, and how many of those are any of us talking about? Simply "having" exclusives isn't the point. It's the quality that's expected of them. MS has been underdelivering on this all generation.

I'll wait to be excited until I see the actual games.

You tell me if xbox gamers played cd3 in droves. We both know it was a middling game that hardly scratched the charts....hardly "eating it up".
