Microsoft drops Xbox 360 MSRP to 130 dollars in Canada

Wow. Almost 100 dollars cheaper than the Wii and given a 1 year head start,yet still 20 million units behind.

Wow it's going down quicker than I thought it would. If it comes down in USA and UK I just might pick up another one for Alan Bake and Gears 3.

That price is the sole factor for high sales is a long busted myth. Just look at the GCN last gen.

if i was canadian and didnt already have a 360, id jump on that. and then you can buy a HDD used online cheap. BUT dont buy a used 360 console.....way too risky. but a HDD is not a risky used purchase.

I'd be all over that, if it wasn't the most useless SKU ever. The Arcade seriously needs to be cut, if they had kept the pro and had it at 199, I'd have been all over that! Also I'm pretty sure this ain't a price cut, just a price is to combat GoW3 for the weeknavstar29

Here in Canada, PS3 is more popular now...360 is for people who wants to mod their console in order to play pirate games. Unfortunately, it's legal to mod your console and play pirate games in Canada. I have my friends having 360, but none of them not mod their 360...sad.

Im' trading in my 360 to get a Jasper model today. The price promotion (only till 18th) plus EB's trade in offer means I end up paying 25 bucks in total, and I get to keep my original HDD.

If I could just slap any HDD into it, I'd consider it.
